Al-Keliddar Binks River to Survive

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Yaser Al-Keliddar
Yaser Al-Keliddar

A player opened to 12,000 on the button before Yaser Al-Keliddar moved all in for 132,500 out of the big blind. The button player thought for some time before committing calling chips to put Al-Keliddar at risk.

Yaser Al-Keliddar: {a-Diamonds}{9-Spades}
Button Player: {a-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}

Al-Keliddar had his opponent dominated but fell way behind after the {a-Spades}{3-Spades}{8-Clubs} flop. The {10-Clubs} turn saw him stand up from his seat before the {9-Hearts} river caused him to retake it following a rollercoaster runout.

Malebranche Benefits From Misclick

Level 14 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante
Joe Malebranche
Joe Malebranche

A player on the button opened to 75,000 after they accidently mistook the black T-25,000 chips for blue T-5000 ones. The small blind got out of the way while Joe Malebranche in the big blind called off for his tournament life.

Joe Malebranche: {a-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}
Button Player: {6-Hearts}{3-Hearts}

Malebranche was ahead with big slick but would need to fade his opponent's two live cards. There was no lead change on the {5-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds} runout, handing Malebranche a full double courtesy of his opponent's misclick.

Roof Eliminates Opponent

Level 14 : Blinds 2,500/5,000, 5,000 ante

A player moved all in for their last 42,500 from under the gun and was called by a player in early position. Marshall Roof then overcalled in middle position and the remaining players got out of the way.

Both the early position player and Roof checked through the {4-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{k-Hearts} flop to see the {3-Hearts} turn at which point the early position player checked for a second time. Roof proceeded to move all in, getting a quick fold from his opponent.

Under The Gun Player: {a-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}
Marshall Roof: {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}

Roof needed to fade an ace heading to the river to get the knockout and did just that after the {j-Diamonds} completed the board.

Pair Good For Wu

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mohammed-Ali Tedjar opened to 10,000 from middle position and was called by the player directly to his left, Xiaohai Wu on the button and the big blind.

Action checked through the {q-Spades}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades} flop to the {2-Clubs} turn at which point the big blind led out for 15,000. Both Tedjar and Wu called while the middle position player folded to generate three-way action heading to the river.

All three players checked on the {10-Clubs} river and Wu tabled {j-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, strong enough to take down the pot.

Mitich Loses Some

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Jacob Mitich opened to 8,000 from middle position and was called by the big blind.

The big blind checked to Mitich on a flop of {a-Spades}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs} and he continued for 10,000. His opponent made the call.

Both players quickly checked through the {3-Diamonds} turn to the {4-Hearts} river at which point the big blind bet out 11,000. 'Why do I always hero' muttered Mitich as he tossed in calling chips. The big blind tabled {9-}{2-} for the wheel to scoop the pot.
