"See you all tomorrow. I need a day off!" announced "Boston" Rob Mariano as he exited the tournament area.
For Mariano, he has had several late nights here following a win in the $85 ALL In or Fold, as well as a deep run in multiple other events.
Mariano finished 9th in this event last year for $2,760, but his efforts to better that feat will have to wait until either the Day 1B or 1C flights tomorrow.
Following a raise from Chris Lindner in early position, and then a three-bet from Kevin Gerhart on the button to 1,800, Nick Aguilera cold four-bet from the big blind to 4,100.
With the action back on Lindner, he five-bet to 12,100 as Gerhart went into the tank before eventually folding.
"You must have me I guess?" pondered Aguilera before eventually folding and slipping to just over 10,000 in chips.
