Santi Poggi: 7♦7♣
Lucero was looking for a king to win the pot and survive, and he also picked up a flush draw on the J♥5♠10♦A♦ board, but the 9♣ river was no help and Lucero was sent to the rail. He immediately headed off to the registration desk for a fresh 60,000 starting stack.
Peter Asmuth also recently fired another bullet.
Nick Hammarstrom raised to 2,500 in the hijack and Josh Hargesheimer called in the big blind.
The flop came J♦J♥7♠ and Hargesheimer led out for 5,000. Hammarstrom called to the 4♦ turn, where Hargesheimer bet another 6,000. Hammarstrom again called.

Asmuth had run right into Schwarzkopf's aces, and the 8♦2♦8♥10♥4♦ board was no help as he was sent to the rail.

After two limps in front of him, Evan Yellick raised to 4,000 in the hijack and was called by Dan Larson under the gun and another opponent in middle position.
All three players checked the K♥10♥3♥ flop. Larson then bet 6,000 on the Q♠ turn, and only Yellick called.
Larson checked the 8♦ river, Yellick bet 15,500, and Larson quickly called. Yellick showed A♦J♦ for a straight, and Larson mucked.
At another table, John Choleva got in his last 40,000 from the cutoff on a flop of K♠10♦J♦ and Josh Brown put him at risk in middle position.
John Choleva: J♣9♣
Josh Brown: Q♣J♥
Both players had a pair and straight draw, while Brown was ahead with his queen-kicker. The 5♣ turn and 3♠ river were no help to Choleva, and Brown held up to send Choleva to the rail.
Cole McFarland bet 4,000 from the hijack on a flop of A♦K♦J♦ and Harold Brenden called in the small blind.
Both players checked the 2♦ turn. Brenden then led out for 9,000 on the 7♦ river, and McFarland moved all in. Brenden quickly folded, and McFarland flashed the Q♦ as he took the pot.
Damon Muehl raised to 2,100 in the small blind and Mark Britton called in the big blind.
The flop came 6♠9♥3♦ and Muehl continued for 1,500. Britton called, and the K♦ fell on the turn.
Muehl checked to Britton, who bet 4,000. Muehl called to the 8♣ river and checked to Britton again, and Britton then bet 2,500. Muehl again called.
Britton showed 10♣8♦ for a pair of eights, but Muehl had K♠2♥ for a pair of kings to win the pot.
