Three players went to the turn on a board of 10♣10♠8♥Q♠ when Jon Wurden bet 6,000 from the button. Only John Schroer called in the small blind.
The river was the 4♦ and Wurden bet another 15,000. Schroer again called, only for Wurden to show him 10♥8♠ for a flopped full house as he raked in the pot.
Joshua Reichard moved all in for his last 23,000 under the gun and Lonnie Price called in the cutoff.
Joshua Reichard: K♦Q♥
Lonnie Price: 8♥8♣
Reichard needed to win the coin flip to survive in today's flight, but he couldn't connect with the 10♥5♣6♣4♠2♥ board as Price's eights stayed in the lead to send Reichard to the rail.
Dakota Geer raised to 8,000 under the gun, Nicholas Hammerstrom moved all in for 42,000 in the small blind, and Geer called.
Nicholas Hammerstrom: A♣10♣
Dakota Geer: A♦8♦
Hammerstrom had Geer dominated as the flop came J♠9♥2♦. The 9♠ turn left open the possibility of a chop, but Hammerstrom's ten-kicker continued to play after the 5♦ river to earn him the double up.
Blain Ovind is currently sitting on a stack of more than 300,000, but he has another reason to celebrate today. He and his wife Cynthia are celebrating their 27th anniversary today, and he wants to wish her a Happy Anniversary.
Carl Wallin raised to 8,500 in early position and was called by Monty Klistoff in middle position. The big blind then moved all in, and Wallin called for 58,500. Klistoff got out of the way.
Carl Wallin: A♠A♦
Opponent: K♥J♠
The Q♦7♠3♥ flop posed no threat to Wallin's aces, and the rest of the board came 4♥K♣ to earn him a double up.
At another table, Joseph Beadle shoved for 68,000 on a flop of 6♠2♣5♠ and Noah Borchard snap-called.
Joseph Beadle: 8♥8♦
Noah Borchard: J♥J♠
Beadle was dominated by Borchard's jacks, and the board ran out 10♦7♥ to seal his elimination. Beadle quickly reentered and retook his old seat.
"You're supposed to have ace-king in that last hand," he said to Borchard.
A player on the button moved all in for 17,500 and Heath McAllister called under the gun. Arlie Brandvold then reshoved in early position, and McAllister got out of the way.
All-In Player: K♦9♣
Arlie Brandvold: K♠K♣
Brandvold had his opponent at risk with his two kings, and the board ran out 8♠5♠4♥Q♥3♥ to give him the knockout.
Despite giving up those chips, McAllister has continued to build his stack and currently sits with around 600,000.
John Schroer raised to 6,000 in early position, Sergio Mireles moved all in from the small blind, and Schroer called.
Sergio Mireles: Q♦Q♠
John Schroer: A♠A♦
Whatever hope Mireles might have had to win the pot completely disappeared after the flop came A♣A♥5♥, giving Schroer quads. "Don't say I never did anything nice for you, John," the dealer said to Schroer.
The rest of the board ran out J♥7♣ to secure the pot for Schroer. His stack was counted down as 102,000, and Mireles was barely covered and sent to the rail.
Joshua Reichard raised to 6,000 in middle position and was called by Lonnie Price and Dakota Geer in the blinds.
Reichard continued for 5,000 on the K♣6♥8♠ flop, and only Price called. The turn was the 8♥ and Price led out for 30,000, enough to put Reichard all in. Reichard took about 30 seconds before folding.
"I thought you wanted a double up?" Price said to him.
