John Moore came down from Joplin, MO to take his shot at the RGPS Main Event.
He's a retired lawyer. He worked as a lawyer for over 30 years before retiring and has spent the last year or so playing poker.
"I'm still kind of a rookie," he said.
"The player I would want to play against is retired," he said, "Doug Polk."
He has $10,832 in career tournament cashes on five cashes. Four of which are in Run Good events.

Travis Lavine has already qualified for the Showboud satellite thanks to his win at the $100 Turbo earlier this season at the RGPS Council Bluffs stop.
He drove down today to try his hand at Day 1C of the Tulsa Hard Rock Main Event and has so far almost doubled his starting stack.
He is from Omaha, NE and is an IT project manager. He's been working in IT for the past 20 years.
He's married to Alison, for five years, and has two stepkids.
He didn't have anyone, in particular, he'd like to play against if he makes it on to Poker After Dark.
