Will Berry Wins Three-Way All In

Rodney Spriggs was in the tank facing an all in from Will Berry. The price was 17,600 and Spriggs already had 3,000 in the middle and Kris Burchfield had 5,800 in behind him.

Spriggs called and left himself 2,800 behind. So Burchfield moved all in, having both players covered. Spriggs called off the rest of his stack.

Berry: {a-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Burchfield: {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}
Spriggs: {10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}

"Rodney do you want to trade hands?" Berry asked.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, teasing Spriggs with an open-ended straight flush draw, but ultimately giving Berry the win and the triple up.

"Ok I want to trade," Spriggs said as he got up from the table and headed to the rail.

RGPS Tulsa Hard Rock Main Event Profile: James Jewell

James Jewell is from Fort Smith, AK.

He owns retail and wholesale stores and has been doing that for six years.

He says it wouldn't really matter who he played against if he made it onto Poker After Dark. However, he said he'd really like to play with Dan Lowery. He says the two of them grew up playing together.

Currently, Jewell has the big stack in Day 1B. He is looking to ride the chip lead on the way to adding to his $14,877 in career tournament winnings.

Rodney Spriggs "Played Perfectly, but still mad"

Rodney Spriggs was in the tank with 14,200 of his stack already in the pot. Nick Burris and Jacob Seale were all in. Burris held the bigger stack and had Spriggs covered.

"I want to make jacks great again," Spriggs said and then reluctantly folded {j-}{j-} face up.

Burris tabled {k-}{k-} in what seemed like an effort to comfort Spriggs.

"I know what's going to happen," Spriggs said.

He flopped a full house on the {j-Diamonds}{7-}{7-} board and got up from the table to take a lap after folding.

The river was a king though and gave Burris a full house to eliminate Seale. The table wanted Spriggs to know he would have lost anyway and he returned to his seat.

"I played perfectly and I'm still mad," Spriggs said.

Rodney Spriggs v Bernard Lee

Rodney Spriggs, Nick Burris, and Bernard Lee all saw the {10-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} flop for 1,600.

Lee checked and Spriggs opened to 2,800. Burris folded and Lee called.

The turn was the {k-Spades} and Lee checked again. Sprigss bet 4,500.

Lee tilted his head, almost as though he was trying to look under Spriggs bet. He verified the amount was 4,500 and tossed in a 5,000 chip to call as he leaned back.

The river was the {6-Hearts} and both players checked. Lee tabled third pair, showing {8-}{7-}. Spriggs won the pot with second pair, showing {q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.
