Kevin Goldman outlasted a field of 275 entries to capture the first ring of the RGPS Bay Area stop. The top 35 places paid out from a total prize pool of $55,000, and Goldman took home $12,100 for the victory.
A player in middle position raised to 6,000 and William Hill shoved his last 20,500 from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way and Hill's opponent called to put him at risk.
