Lin Flops a Flush

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Action was three ways with 7,000 in the pot and {4-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts} on the board. Michael Lin checked and Bradley Carn bet 9,000. Laurence Cruz got out of the way and Lee called.

The turn was {3-Spades} and Lin checked again. Carn shoved with and Lee called quickly with his small stack as he turned over {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for the flush. Carn had {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and the river was inconsequential as Lee dragged the double.

You Won't Believe How Doug Polk Lost This Pot After Flopping Jacks Full!

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Doug Polk
Doug Polk

On Friday, The Lodge Live stream in Texas had an exciting show with co-owner Doug Polk and the newest World Poker Tour champion Corey Wade at the table. After the cameras stopped rolling, the Upswing Poker founder lost quite a memorable bad beat that he'd probably just like to forget.

During the five-hour stream, which you can view on The Lodge's YouTube channel, Polk lost $28,000. Wade, who won the WPT Seminole Hard Rock Tampa Main Event last week for $471,686, bought in for $100,000 and was the biggest winner, taking home a profit of $48,000.

Shortly after the stream concluded, Polk played a hang against a player named "Boston Jimmy" that was quite cruel. Well, not so much for Jimmy.

Watts Leaves Stapleton Short

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante
Joe Stapleton
Joe Stapleton

Shawn Watts was seen stacking up chips after a double-up against Joe Stapleton. The board read {j-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}{8-Clubs} and it appeared Stapleton had shoved the river with {7-}{6-}. Watts called with {8-Spades}{5-Hearts} to take the pot with two pair and get back above the starting stack.

"At least I would've given my chips to Joe," Watts said about the call on the river. "I'm freerolling this one. I won my seat on ClubGG."
