Tanimoto on a Heater

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante
Arthur Tanimoto
Arthur Tanimoto

Arthur Tanimoto was just seen with over 600,000 chips before winning a pot at the expense of Liya Gerasimova.

With 30,000 in the middle on a flop of {2-Hearts}{6-Spades}{10-Hearts}, Tanimoto bet 8,000 under the gun and was called by Gerasimova to his immediate left.

On the {j-Spades} turn, Tanimoto bet another 18,000 and was called again.

The river brought the {8-Clubs} and Tanimoto fired yet again, this time for 28,000.

Gerasimova couldn't call and the pot was pushed to Tanimoto, who told PokerNews after the hand that he'd won pots with aces, kings twice, and a full house with king-nine in the last couple of hours to accumulate his now sizable stack.

Nguyen Approaches 800k by Busting Burum

Level 14 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

With approximately 140,000 in the middle on a turn board of {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}{6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}, Chad Burum moved all in from the small blind for just under the size of the pot.

Toan Nguyen deliberated and then made the call to put Burum at risk.

Chad Burum: {6-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Toan Nguyen: {a-Clubs}{a-Hearts}

Burum had a pair of threes and a flush draw versus Nguyen's aces.

When the {3-Spades} fell on the river, Burum thought briefly he had been bailed out before realizing that Nguyen held the better two pair with aces and fives, and the large pot was pushed to Nguyen, giving him the chip lead.

Patterson Eliminates De La Torre

Level 14 : 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

After Tyler Patterson raised under the gun, Rachel De La Torre moved her 47,500 chips into the middle and was called by the RunGood Ambassador for a classic flip.

Rachel De La Torre: {a-Clubs}{k-Clubs}
Tyler Patterson: {q-Diamonds}{q-Spades}

The {10-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Hearts} flop gave De La Torre a couple of extra outs to Broadway, though one of the two remaining queens would also give Patterson a set.

That wouldn't come to fruition however, as the turn {9-Diamonds} and {4-Clubs} river completed the board and sent De La Torre to the rail.
