Heads-up on a board of 9♠2♣7♥3♥, Nicholas Rigby bet 90,000 from under the gun and Jeffrey Chang called in the small blind.
The river was the 7♠ and Rigby bet 275,000. Chang again called, and Rigby showed 7♦6♦ for trips as he began doing the viral "6-7" dance while raking in the pot.
Action folded to Arash Asadabadi who moved all in for 196,000 in the small blind, and Kade Venkatesan called in the big blind trying to make up for his missed opportunity in the last hand.
Arash Asadabadi: K♣2♦
Kade Venkatesan: A♠5♠
Asadabadi took the lead on the 2♣4♥8♣ flop with a pair of deuces, while the turn was the 6♥. The river, though, was the 3♥ and Venkatesan improved to a straight to send Asadabadi to the rail in 12th place.
Justin Arnwine raised to 32,000 in the hijack and Charles Furey called in the cutoff. Arash Asadabadi then moved all in for 47,000 on the button and Kade Venkatesan reraised to 125,000 in the small blind.
Arnwine folded, but Furey then reshoved. Venkatesan exposed ace-king and eventually folded.
Arash Asadabadi: 10♣10♠
Charles Furey: 7♣7♠
"I thought he shoved after he saw my hand," Venkatesan explained. The board ran out 5♦5♥4♠K♦J♦ and Asadabadi's tens earned him the double up, while Venkatesan rued his missed opportunity.
"I would've made the nut flush. Everything that had to happen for you to win that hand happened. An angel fell down on you," Arnwine said.
At the other table, Lara Eisenberg was all in for 250,000 from the cutoff and up against Russ Dunlevy in the hijack.
Lara Eisenberg: A♣10♠
Russ Dunlevy: A♥K♦
"You're going to bink it," Dunlevy reassured Eisenberg, but she missed the 5♥5♠5♦8♣6♣ board and Dunlevy's king-kicker earned him the pot to send Eisenberg to the rail.
Craig Delisle raised to 32,000 under the gun before Arash Asadabadi moved all in from the small blind. Delisle called for 262,000.
Craig Delisle: K♣Q♥
Arash Asadabadi: Q♦J♦
Delisle had Asadabadi dominated and hit two pair on the A♠K♠A♣ flop. The rest of the board ran out 9♣4♥ and Delisle doubled up, leaving Asadabadi nursing a short stack.
Zach Kates moved all in for 46,000 in early position and Justin Arnwine reraised to 100,000 in the cutoff. Tyler Shields then shoved for 500,000 in the small blind, and Arnwine snap-called.
Matt Mullins put in his last 51,000 in the big blind and both Nicholas Rigby under the gun and Russ Dunlevy in the hijack called.
The flop came 10♥3♥5♥ and Rigby checked to Dunlevy. "I'm all in. I don't know why you're looking at me. You can torch more if you want. I can't put any more in," Mullins said as Dunlevy eyed him down.
Dunlevy checked back and the 6♦ fell on the turn. Rigby then bet 100,000. "Can you make sure there's someone at the payout desk," Mullins said.
Dunlevy ended up shoving for 223,000, and Rigby quickly called. "Flopped a set somehow," Dunlevy said, showing 5♦5♠. Rigby had 4♣4♠, while Mullins showed K♠10♣
The river was the 10♦ and Dunlevy improved to a full house to scoop the pot, earning a double off Rigby and busting Mullins in 16th place.
Nicholas Rigby raised to 35,000 in early position and Russ Dunlevy called in the cutoff.
The flop came 7♦6♥4♦ and Rigby continued for 65,000.
"Did you ever see Hurricane? A Canadian sitcom," Dunlevy began musing as he tanked for a minute. He then raised to 150,000.
"They made like spin-off shows and stuff," he continued. Rigby eventually moved all in. "Didn't want to see that," Dunlevy said, and he tossed his cards into the muck.
Charles Furey raised to 24,000 in early position and was called by Tyler Shields in middle position and Arash Asadabadi in the hijack. Kade Venkatesan then three-bet to 83,000 in the cutoff.
Furey folded and Shields called as action went on Asadabadi, who put in a four-bet to 205,000. Venkatesan then shoved for 700,000 and Shields quickly folded.
Asadabadi went deep into the tank, taking several minutes before he tossed his cards away and Venkatesan took the big pot.
