With two players seeing a board of 5♠Q♦6♠A♣ Walker Miskelly was all-in, having started the hand with around 160,000, and up against Chris Kennedy who covered him.
Walker Miskelly: A♦6♣
Chris Kennedy: A♠4♠
Kennedy had top pair and the nut-flush draw but was behind Miskelly who had aces up. The K♥ river was a brick for Kennedy and Miskelly doubled up through Kennedy for the second time in quick succession.
A player opened from middle position, another player called from the hijack and Chris Kennedy called from the button. Walker Miskelly shoved for 71,000 from the big blind and action folded around to Kennedy who called with a covering stack to put Miskelly at risk.
Walker Miskelly: 8♥8♠
Chris Kennedy: 6♥6♣
The 7♠9♠K♥3♣3♠ runout kept Miskelly ahead with the higher pocket pair to doble through Kennedy.
With two players seeing a board of J♥3♦10♣ and around 30,000 in the middle, Teresa Lammie was all-in from the hijack for 53,000 and up against the covering stack of Brian Borne in the big blind.
Teresa Lammie: A♠Q♥
Brian Borne: 10♥9♥
Borne was ahead with second pair on the flop but Lammie made a straight on the K♥ turn. Born did not make a running flush when the river cam ethe K♦ and Lammie doubled up.
Eric Nicol was down to around 20,000 after leading the field with over 300,000 just an hour earlier. He shoved from under the gun and Dee Wampler, who had doubled up through Nicol not long before to start his downfall, called with a covering stack from the big blind to put him at risk.
Eric Nicol: 7♠3♠
Dee Wampler: A♦6♥
The board ran out A♥7♦8♣Q♠6♣ giving Wampler top pair to win the hand.
"Chip lead to out in 45 minutes," Nicol commented as he exited the tournament area.
Elsewhere in the tournament area, Hamid Izadi and Susan Murphy were recently eliminated from Day 1b.

A player from under the gun opened to 8,000 and Chris Kennedy three-bet to 23,000 from his direct left. Action then folded around to a player in the hijack who shoved with a covering stack. Kennedy, who had over 100,000, called and was at risk.
Chris Kennedy: K♥K♦
Hijack: J♠J♣
Kennedy was a big favorite with pocket kings but the Q♣3♣4♣ flop gave his opponent a flush draw for some additional outs. The rest of the board ran out 4♦8♦, keeping Kennedy's kings in front for the double up.
Kennedy mentioned earlier today that before today's Main Event he had played five RunGood events so far, making the final table each time. Time will tell if Kennedy can keep his final table streak going with a sixth final table in the Main Event.
