Jouaneh's Triple-Up Erased on the River

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante
Michael Jouaneh
Michael Jouaneh

Mario Rufini moved his short stack into the middle from middle position, and Jeromie Heinsey also moved all in for slightly more in the cutoff. Michael Jouaneh shoved his covering stack on the button, and the rest of the table got out of the way.

Mario Rufini: A8 All in
Michael Jouaneh: 99 All in
Jeromie Heinsey: 22

Jouaneh flopped best by spiking a set on the 679 flop, but the 8 turn brought some chop outs for Rufini and Heinsey. The dealer flipped over the 5 river, completing a straight on board to see all three players chop the pot.

Amoroso Shows the Goods

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Dennis Firestone opened to 800 from under the gun, with Timothy Amoroso making the call in middle position. Jeremy Geist slid in a call from the big blind, and the 6KQ flop was turned up.

All three players declined to bet, and the dealer revealed the J turn. Geist and Firestone checked again before Amoroso tossed out a 1,000 chip.

That produced quick folds from Geist and Firestone, and Amoroso showed A10 for a straight as he collected the pot.

Motter Wins Ace-High Battle

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante

Kevin Motter raised to 1,300 on the button, and Brian Morrow defended his big blind to see the 53J flop.

Both players checked to the J turn, where Morrow led out for 1,000. Motter quickly called to the 9 river, where another pair of checks followed.

"Ace-high" said Motter, tabling A10. Morrow turned over A4 for an ace-high of his own, but the weaker kicker saw Motter claim the pot.

After losing an all in a short time earlier, Thomas Abbas reentered with a fresh stack.

After seeing the 7910 flop, Timothy Amoroso checked from under the gun. Thomas Abbas moved his stack into the middle, for a total of 16,300.

Amoroso took some time before tossing in the call, and the hands were turned up.

Thomas Abbas: KK All in
Timothy Amoroso: J10

The A turn was safe for Abbas, but Amoroso caught the 8 river to make a straight. Abbas saw the last of his stack head across the table, as he exited the tournament area.

Kerlin Takes the Turn

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

James Booth led out for 700 from the small blind on the 9K3 flop. Allen Kerlin made the call in the big blind, and the dealer revealed the 6 turn.

Booth slowed down with a check, while Kerlin slid out a bet of 2,000. That was enough to claim the pot, as Booth did not take long to slide his cards into the muck.
