Toan Nguyen began the hand with a raise to 16,000 from the hijack. Nikki Woodside called from the small blind as they took a flop heads up.
The A♣3♠5♥ flop resulted in a round of checks from both players.
Woodside checked the Q♣ turn before Nguyen bet 16,000. Woodside stuck around with a call.
The Q♠ river resulted in a bet of 25,000 from Woodside. Nguyen gave it considerable thought before he tapped the table and said, "Nice hand," before he folded.
This hand finished a strong rush by Woodside to finish Day 1c, where she bagged a considerable stack as the bubble burst during the hand and permitted the remaining 20 players to bag for Day 2 on Sunday.

A player from early position raised to 8,000 and was called in the next seat over. Lee Markholt chose to jam for 58,000 from the big blind, which resulted in a fold from the original raiser. The second player to enter the pot called to put Markholt at risk.
Lee Markholt: A♣Q♣
Opponent: A♠J♦
Markholt's hand was in good position to double up, and the flop kept up the status quo as it fanned out 3♥9♠4♦ to keep Markholt in the lead. The 8♠ turn and the 10♦ river completed the board and kept Markholt in the tournament.

Nikki Woodside has had a profitable couple of hands. After just winning a big pot, Woodside dove right into another pot in the very next hand.
Woodside chose to raise to 13,000 from early position and was called in the small blind.
Both players checked through the 6♦10♣4♠ flop and the 3♥ turn to bring the 10♥ river.
The small blind opted to be 15,000. Woodside pondered her options before she threw out a call.
Her opponent showed K♣J♠ for king high, which was no good as Woodside tabled A♥J♥ for ace high to take down the pot.

Charles Himes got the action started with an all-in for 12,000 from middle position. Kong Wang called on the button, as well as Nikki Woodside from the small blind and Kyna England from the big blind.
Woodside and England checked the flop of 2♣4♣10♥ before Wang put out a bet of 18,000. Both blinds folded to make the pot go to a heads-up showdown between Himes and Wang.
Charles Himes: J♥J♦
Kong Wang: A♣8♣
Wang needed to find an ace or a club to pull ahead against the pocket jacks of Himes. The 9♦ turn kept Himes in the lead, but the 9♣ river was not as friendly as it improved Wang to a flush to eliminate Himes.
