A Couple Of Early Notables

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

Ken Baime and Donnie Phan are among the players who have taken seats in Level 1. Baime has three RunGood final tables to his credit, while Phan has six. Baime has two victories on the tour, while Phan is still searching for his first, though. Both players have more than $1 million on their Hendon Mob tournament tallies, so they'll be looking to add to those totals this weekend.

Overlapping Events Have Players Scattered

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

RunGood Grand Prix Caesars Southern Indiana is in full swing, but the Main Event isn't necessarily the main attraction at this early juncture. There are 24 early entrants, while around 100 players are scattered throughout the room. Some of them are participating in the pot-limit Omaha and single-day events that began earlier today, and a few lucky players are collecting payouts to wrap up the $400 DeepStack restart.

Just weeks after wrapping up it's first-half "Mission RunGood" series with a $1 million guaranteed finale, RunGood Poker Series is back in action with a new "Grand Prix" theme. And Caesars Southern Indiana is set to host one of the first stops, with the $800 Main Event kicking off today at 6 p.m. That will mark the start of the Day 1a flight, which will be followed by three more starting flights before Day 2 on Sunday.

Players get 30,000 in their starting stacks, and they'll start at 100/200/200 blinds and antes. They'll race off toward the end of registration, playing eight levels of 30 minutes apiece before the 40-minute levels kick in. Anyone busting out before the start of Level 9 can reenter.

Caesars Southern Indiana marks a new stop for the RunGood Poker Series, as it did not appear on the first-half schedule. The popular tour will look to make a mark in a new locale with its trademark style and glittering ring awards for first-place winners.

PokerNews will be on hand for live updates throughout the event, so keep checking in for key updates.
