Stevenson Doubles Through Kriventsov

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Joe Stevenson went all in for his final 13,400 from under the gun and was called in the big blind by Stanislav Kriventsov to go to a showdown.

Joe Stevenson: 66All in
Stanislav Kriventsov: KK

Stevenson was in deep trouble against the pocket kings of Kriventsov, but the flop brought some good news as the board fanned out J26 to give Stevenson a set.

The J turn gave Kriventsov some additional outs, but the 10 river was not one of them as Stevenson secured the double.

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante
Bradley Anderson (CA)
Bradley Anderson (CA)

Matt Affleck raised to 1,500 from the hijack position before Bradley Anderson called from the cutoff. Derek Daymond and Robert Sellers defended their blinds to send them to the flop four-handed.

Daymond checked before Sellers chose to bet 6,000. Affleck elected to fold, but Anderson responded with a raise to 13,000. Daymond folded, and Sellers announced all in. Anderson snap called to put Sellers at risk.

Robert Sellers: QQAll in
Bradley Anderson: 55

Sellers had the ovepair, but Anderson flopped a set and was well ahead.

The J turn and the 6 river did not alter the situation as Sellers was eliminated and Anderson scooped a healthy pot.

River for Primus

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Over 20,000 was already in the middle on the flop of KJ5. Benjamin Primus opted to jam from the small blind for approximately 8,000, which led to a call from Dustin Cavanaugh in the next seat over. Dustin Iannotti gave it some thought before he folded from the cutoff and sent Primus and Cavanaugh to a showdown with Primus at risk.

Benjamin Primus: J10All in
Dustin Cavanaugh: KJ

Cavanaugh held a dominant lead over Primus with his two pair. Primus was going to need some help on the turn just to stay alive.

The Q turn gave Primus some hope as it gave him a straight draw.

As Primus began to stand up and pack his bag, the miracle on the river came when it peeled the 9 to give Primus the straight.
