Berenji and Pupo Clash

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Giovanni Pupo raised to 2,000 from early position and was called on the button by Ali Berenji. Denis Lee defended his big blind to create a three-handed pot.

Lee checked the 332 flop, which led to a bet of 2,500 from Pupo. Berenji called, but Lee folded to exit the hand.

Pupo continued the pressure on the 4 turn with a bet of 5,000. Berenji smooth called to send them to a river.

The 6 river saw fireworks as Pupo began the final street with a check. Berenji put out a bet of 3,000, which Pupo responded to with a check-raise to 10,000. Berenji paused before he staged a bet of 23,000 and pushed it toward the middle.

Berenji's raise sent Pupo into the tank as he vocalized the situation he found himself in. Pupo eventually chose to call and was shown the bad news as Berenji revealed 43 for a full house. Pupo mucked his hand as Berenji dragged in a consequential pot.

Valizadegan Jams on Egbert

Level 6 : Blinds 400/800, 800 ante

Mark Egbert began the action with a raise other than 1,800 from early position. Bilgun Odgerel came along with a call from the cutoff. Both blinds also called with Hamed Valizadegan in the small blind and Yang Lu in the big blind.

Both Valizadegan and Lu checked the 652 flop before Egbert elected to bet 2,800. Odgerel folded, but Valizadegan called to stay in the hand. Lu also got out of the way with a fold.

Valizadegan checked again on the 10 turn. This time, Egbert put together a bet of 10,500 and slid it towards the middle. Valizadegan pondered for a moment before he stacked his chips into one column and pushed all of them toward the pot to signal that he was all-in. Egbert did not think long before he folded to award the pot to Valizadegan.
