Derek Stark

Level 11: 1,500/3,000
Derek Stark got the hand started when he raised ot 6,000 from early position and was called in four spots by Anubhav Jolly in the next seat over, Randy Gil from the hijack, Clinton Ronsse on the button, and Coy Sanders in the big blind.

All five players checked the 89J flop to bring on the 2 turn.

Once again, every player checked to see the 2 river. "Never slow play bottom two on a monotone board," said Stark before he bet 10,000. Jolly and Gil folded. Ronsse called, and Sanders got out of the way.

Stark showed QJ for a rivered two pair to take down the pot.

William Heinselman

William Heinselman and Evgenii Tsoi clashed preflop in a pot where Tsoi was at risk for his stack once again against Heinselman, whom he had doubled up through earlier.

Evgenii Tsoi: QQAll in
William Heinselman: AK

Tsoi appeared poised to double through Heinselman for the second time in recent memory, but the flop did not cooperate with Tsoi as it came 9A3 to give Heinselman the lead.

The J turn and the 2 river sealed Tsoi's fate as it eliminated him from the tournament.

Ghio Out Runs Lockmanese

Level 15 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Joe Ghio from early position and Richard Lockmanese from the button got it all in preflop with Ghio at risk for 36,000.

Joe Ghio: K9All in
Richard Lockmanese: AJ

Lockmanese held the edge preflop, but Ghio outflopped his opponent when it came QK9 to give Ghio two pair.

The turn was intriguing as it came the J to give Lockmanese a pair of jacks and the flush draw.

The 4 ended the drama as it was a brick in favor of Ghio, who was awarded the full double.
