Barney Wilczewski bet 2,000 from the hijack on a flop of 2♦4♦8♠ and was called by Vinubhai Patel in the small blind, Karl Manning in the big blind, and Glenn Strickland in middle position.
Patel led out for 2,000 on the 5♣ turn, and Strickland and Wilczewzki called. Patel bet 5,000 on the 5♥ river, and Strickland moved all in for 12,500. Wilczewzki got out of the way, while Patel quickly called.
Strickland showed A♣5♦ for trips, but Patel turned over 7♣6♣ for a straight to win the pot and send Strickland to the rail.
