Ta Making Late Push For the Chip Lead

David Salituro

Level 15 : Blinds 3,000/5,000, 5,000 ante

Josh Adkins bet 15,000 from the hijack on a flop of K♦8♣A♦ and James Brown called in the cutoff, as did Phuong Ta in the big blind.

The turn was the 5♣ and Ta led out for 55,000. Adkins called, while Brown got out of the way.

Both players checked the 9♠ river, and Ta showed A♣5♦ for two pair to win the pot as he moved up to 500,000.
