Level 11
: Blinds 1,000/2,000, 2,000 ante
Johnny Landreth limped in from early position and Gourg Khanchat came along from the hijack before Talesh Patel moved all in for 19,000 on the button. Landreth called, while Khanchat tanked for a minute before folding.
Talesh Patel: A♥4♥
Johnny Landreth: 10♦10♠
Patel was looking for an ace to stay alive, but instead Landreth spiked top set on the 10♣2♣5♠ flop. Patel needed to complete a straight draw, but he missed the A♦ turn and Q♣ river. Khanchat, meanwhile, then admitted he folded king-jack and would've made a straight.
