Strout Hits the Nuts to Double; Ryan Falls to Kusnerak
Sokol Curri limped in from middle position before Josh Adkins raised to 30,000 in the hijack. Grant Palmer called on the button, as did Stephen Strout and Nikhil Sunku in the blinds, as well as Curri.
The flop came 8♣J♣9♠ and Palmer bet 35,000. Strout then moved all in for 62,000, and only Palmer called.
Stephen Strout: A♣6♣
Grant Palmer: 5♣4♣
Both players were on a flush draw, and Strout ended up hitting the nuts on the 7♠Q♣ runout to win the pot and double up.
At another table, Zack Ryan was all in for 62,000 from middle position and up against Daniel Kusnerak in the cutoff.
Zack Ryan: J♦9♥
Daniel Kusnerak: Q♥10♦
Ryan couldn't connect with the 3♣A♣4♣5♣3♥ board, and Kusnerak remained in the lead with queen-high to win the pot and send Ryan to the rail.
