Mike Scarborough raised to 80,000 in middle position and was called by Jack Hays and Carl Masters in the blinds.

All three players checked the J♠9♠9♣ flop. Scarborough then bet 150,000 on the 6♦ turn, and only Hays called.

Hays checked the 8♣ river, and Scarborough checked behind. "Damn you," Hays said as he turned over 9♥6♥ for a full house to win the pot.

Welko Catches Up to Scarborough

Craig Welko raised to 80,000 in middle position and Mike Scarborough called in the cutoff, as did Stephan Mobley in the big blind.

The flop came Q♠9♥J♣ and Welko bet 125,000. Only Scarborough called.

Welko then bet 225,000 on the 9♦ turn, and Scarborough folded this time as Welko pulled virtually even with Scarborough atop the leaderboard.

Mobley led out for 100,000 on the Q♥ river, and Masters called. Mobley showed 5♥3♥ for a flush, and Masters mucked.

The next hand, Patty Till raised to 65,000 in middle position and Mike Scarborough three-bet to 200,000 in the hijack. Till came back with a four-bet to 700,000, and Scarborough took a minute before tossing Q♣Q♥ into the muck.

The flop came A♣Q♣8♦ and Hays bet 50,000. Only Scarborough called, and the 7♠ fell on the turn.

Hays then bet 260,000, and Scarborough folded. "You want to see how big of a p**sy I am? I was like, please don't make me play actual poker," Hays said as he opened up A♦A♥ while taking the pot.
