Logan Langley: 9♣7♣
Lisa Schuessler: K♣K♦
Brent Spencer: K♥J♣
Schuessler had the best of it as they went to a runout, but with five cards to go, anything could happen.
The 8♣7♦5♦ flop gave Langley some life as he flopped a pair of sevens and a gutshot straight draw.
The 6♠ turn was just what Langley needed as he turned a straight, taking the lead.
Langley hit an unnecessary trips on the 7♠ river as he scored the triple up.
Schuessler would have to settle for the side pot as Spencer took the hit from both players.
Daniel "Donk" Hughes got involved in a big pot. Hughes began the action with an open to 1,600 from early position. Bruce Vang called from the next seat over, but Joshua Brower chose to three-bet to 7,300. Hughes fought fire with fire and chose to four-bet shove for 30,400. Vang folded, but Brower made the call.
Daniel Hughes: A♣A♦
Joshua Brower: K♣K♥
Hughes had the best of it as he caught Brower in a cooler with aces versus kings.
There was no drama on the 5♠9♥J♥3♠10♥ runout as Hughes scored the double up.
David Burke made it 2,400 from middle position before Hank Shephard responded with a jam for 30,500 on the button. Burke made the call, and the cards were on their backs, with Shephard at risk.
Hank Shephard: K♣K♥
David Burke: K♣10♥

This hand was picked up on the flop of 10♠8♥6♥ before Marvin Donaldson bet 2,000 from the big blind. A player from the hijack called before former RGPS Hard Rock Tulsa champion Nicholas Burris made it 8,000 from the cutoff. Donaldson folded, but the cutoff called.
The cutoff shoved for 20,000 on the A♣ turn. Burris called and put the cutoff at risk.
Opponent: J♦9♥
Nicholas Burris: 10♦6♦
Burris held the lead with two pair, but his opponent had an open-ended straight draw to stay in contention.
The straight did not come on the 8♠ river as Burris scored the elimination.
The pot had grown to over 15,000 on a board that read 2♠9♥8♣ between Melinda Hettick in the big blind and Jack Willman from the hijack.
Hettick checked her option on the flop before Willman bet 15,000. Hettick was undeterred as she chose to check-raise to 34,500 in response.

Caron slowed down with a check on the 6♣ turn before McCracken fired 7,000 in response. Caron folded as McCracken went to a showdown against Glueckert.
Norman Glueckert: A♣Q♦
William McCracken: 6♦5♦
Glueckert was drawing dead as the turn improved McCracken to trip sixes and had a lock on the hand.
The Q♠ river was cruel as it gave Glueckert a pair of queens that were no good, eliminating him from Day 1a.
Norman Glueckert and David Burke clashed in an all-in pot preflop as Burke was at risk for 17,000.
David Burke: K♣J♣
Norman Glueckert: J♠J♥
Glueckert had Burke in trouble as Burke's only live card was his king as they went to a runout.

Burke's search was over on the turn when the K♦ hit, pulling him into the lead.
The 9♦ river completed the board and awarded Burke the double up.
