Walker Leaves Rinehart with Scraps

Level 2 : Blinds 200/300, 300 ante
Joseph Walker
Joseph Walker

Devon Rinehart opened the action with a raise to 600 from the hijack. Joseph Walker made the call from the cutoff, and Philip Carselowey came along with a call from the big blind.

It was checked to Rinehart on the 696 flop, who bet 1,400. Walker called, and Carselowey folded.

Both players checked the 10 turn to bring the 4 river.

Rinehart bet 2,000 and was called by Walker.

Rinehart showed 77, but it was Walker with the winner as he tabled A10 to claim the pot.

Rinehart was left with just over 4,000 in chips following the loss. It was a few hands later that Rinehart would bust and was seen leaving the tournament area.

Courtney Scores Early Elimination

Level 1 : Blinds 100/200, 200 ante

This hand was picked up on the flop of K34. A series of raises led to an all-in clash between Tony Courtney and his opponent, with his opponent at risk for 21,000.

Opponent: AKAll in
Tony Courtney: K3

Courtney had his opponent in a tough spot as he flopped two pair, while his opponent held top pair.

The 9 turn offered additional outs to his opponent, but the 8 river ended the affair as Courtney took down the pot to tally an early knockout.

Courtney was seen losing a significant pot later to drop in chip count despite the early boon from the knockout.
