Nathan Shoves Into Benjamin's Queens

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Eric Nathan raised to 1,200 in the hijack before Charlemagne Benjamin three-bet to 4,000 in the cutoff. Nathan then moved all in for his last 10,000, and Benjamin snap-called.

Eric Nathan: K10 All in
Charlemagne Benjamin: QQ

Nathan was looking for a king to survive against Benjamin's queens, but he could only make a pair of tens on the 10JA46 board and was sent to the rail.

"You're coming back in, right?" Nick Rigby asked him.

"Of course I am," Nathan replied as he made his exit.

Bromberg Doesn't Get His Wish Against Bronstein

Level 5 : Blinds 300/600, 600 ante

Nick Rigby raised to 2,000 in early position before Marc Bronstein three-bet to 6,600 on the button. Johnny Bromberg called in the small blind, as did Rigby.

"Just don't put an ace or a king out there. That's all I ask," Bromberg pleaded with the dealer as the flop came KQ4. Bronstein then bet 5,000, and only Bromberg called.

Bronstein bet another 20,000 on the 9 turn, and Bromberg folded this time.

The next hand, Bronstein raised to 2,500 in the cutoff after a series of limps in front of him and Eric Nathan reraised to 8,500 in the small blind. Tom Macey called in the hijack, while Bronstein got out of the way.

Nathan bet 13,100 on the 785 flop, but Macey then came back with a raise to 30,000. Nathan took a few seconds but eventually folded.

The turn was the 3 and Fickes bet another 10,000. Katchalov then moved all in, and Fickes called for his last 27,000.

Fickes showed QJ for top pair, but Katchalov had AA. The 6 river was no help to Fickes, and he was sent to the rail.

Six is Good For Rigby

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Eric Nathan raised to 1,100 in the hijack before Nick Rigby three-bet to 5,200 on the button. Nathan called, and they went heads-up to the 1068 flop.

Rigby then continued for 5,000, and Nathan called. Rigby bet another 11,000 on the J turn, and Nathan again called.

Both players checked down the 9 river. "Fours," Nathan said, showing 44.

"Fours you call me with?" Rigby said as he turned over K6 to win the pot with a pair of sixes. "I didn't come all this way not to three-bet king-six off. He's three-betting deuce-four. This table is a circus," Rigby added, pointing out tablemate Ben Moschel.

While this hand was ongoing, Tom Macey and Johnny Bromberg had a verbal altercation and the floor had to be called over. Both players were handed one-round penalties.

Heads-up on a flop of K6J, Eugene Katchalov bet 1,000 from the cutoff and Brandon Butler called in the big blind.

The turn was the A and Katchalov bet another 2,200. Butler again called, and the 8 fell on the river. Katchalov then bet 7,500, and Butler called once more.

Katchalov could only show Q9 for a bluff, while Butler turned over A4 and won the pot with his pair of aces.
