Five Brazilians made the final table of SCOOP 39-L: $22 NLHE [Turbo, Mystery Bounty, Daily Cooldown], but it was Canada's "sandhu1008" who weathered the storm and came out on top. Among the South American contingent was PokerStars Team Pro and WCOOP winner Lali Tournier, who finished fourth in the event.

The $22 buy-in turbo drew a massive field, pushing the prize pool to $114,460 and well above the $75K guarantee. "sandhu1008" collected $6,959.34 for the win, along with $371.73 in bounties, after navigating a final table that saw Brazil claim five of the top seven spots.
