Samuel Vousden is in Seventh Heaven

Samuel Vousden
Samuel Vousden

Finland's Samuel "€urop€an" Vousden won his fourth SCOOP title in as many years, taking his total number of SCOOP victories to seven. Vousden's latest win came in the $1,050 buy-in edition of the Copacabana, a No-Limit Hold'em tournament with a turbo blind structure.

A compact field of 82 entrants meant only those who navigated to the nine-handed final table won a share of the $82,000 prize pool.

"Ebaaa11" was the first player to lose their stack inside the money places. Such luminaries as "Stonedream," "starswins :)" and Lithuania's "Deiv4za" joined the ever-growing list of eliminated players.

Serial casher "Tapiscalle?" busted in fifth with Mexico-based Russian Vladimir "SerVlaMin" Minko bowing out in fourth. Heads-up was set when Andrey "Anjeyyyy" Novak ran out of steam in third, a finish good for $12,416, the tournament's first five-figure award.

A classic heads-up match between two of online poker's greats, Vousden and Ole "wizowizo" Schemion, ensued. Vousden got the job done and his hands on his seventh career SCOOP title, leaving Schemion to wait for his 11th.

Peter Traply Secures His Sixth SCOOP Title

Peter Traply
Peter Traply

Hungarian star Peter "Belabacsi" Traply is now a six-time SCOOP champion after he took down the $215 No-Limit Hold'em Turbo Copacabana for $15,908. The online poker veteran won his first SCOOP title in 2010, the series' first year. Fifteen years later, Traply is still mixing it up with the best of them.

Traply came out on top of a 443-strong field in this $215 buy-in event. Plenty of big names finished in the top 63 places where the $88,600 was shared. They included Patrick "pads1161" Leonard, "FAL1st," and Vlad "dariepoker" Darie.

The final table was littered with established grinders, including "StupidFr3nch" (9th - $1,346), "tekelson221" (6th - $3,089), Brandon "Tyrion2205" Sheils (4th - $5,950), and "assel007" (3rd - $8,259).

Heads-up saw Traply defeat another SCOOP legend, Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson, preventing him from winning what would have been his 15th SCOOP event. Instead, Traply moved to six SCOOP victories, ranking him alongside the likes of Talal "raidalot" Shakerchi, Blaz "Scaremak3r" Zerjav, and a certain Shaun "shaundeeb" Deeb.

FAL1st Takes Down the $1K FLO8; Moves to 13 Victories

$1,050 FLO8 Results

Mixed game specialist "FAL1st" became only the fifth player in history to rack up at 13 victories in SCOOP events when he triumphed over a star-studded field in the $1,050 Fixed Limit Omaha Hi-Lo event.

Fifty-seven entries were processed, resulting in a $57,000 prize pool that the top 11 finishers shared. Brazilian Bernardo "bedias" Dias was the unfortunate soul who popped the money bubble.

Benny "RunGodlike" Glaser was one of the handful of players who cashed but failed to reach the final table. Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi was another; he was eliminated in eighth.

Any of the seven finalists would have made a worthy champion. "king153246," Andrey "Premove" Skvortsov, and Christian "Cmoosepower" Elgstrom were the first finalists to crash out. The United Kingdom's "AmateurGOAT" fell in fourth place before "Dart Serg" of Belarus fell in third.

"FAL1st" then sent another Belarusian, Andrey "Gigaloff" Zhigalov, home in second place, locking in the $13,902 top prize and an impressive 13th career SCOOP title. This latest win ties "FAL1st" with Patrick "pads1161" Leonard and the aforementioned Skvortsov, and trailing Swedish duo Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson and Jerry "Perrymejsen" Odeen by a single victory.

EPT Main Champion Karmatckii Makes It 5 on SCOOP

Arsenii Karmatckii
Arsenii Karmatckii

2018's EPT Sochi Main Event champion Arsenii "josef_shvejk" Karmatckii made it a brilliant 5 SCOOP victories on Wednesday, taking down the SCOOP 96-M: $109 NLHE for $13,065.93.

Karmatckii, who has just under $4,000,000 in live tournament earnings as per The Hendon Mob, continues to prove his versatility with yet another impressive online score.

Karmatckii would require 3-entries to eventually defeat the rest of the 770-entry field, but won't mind too much after banking a big win and yet another title.

Elsewhere in the field, PokerStars Team Pro Benjamin "Spraggy" Spragg also cashed, making a nice run to finish 26th with 111-players making the money.

"piaba.kjj" Proves a Satellite Wizard on Super Tuesday

SCOOP 2026
SCOOP 2026

Brazil-based "piaba.kjj" lived the SCOOP dream on Wednesday after winning $18,436.41 in the headline SCOOP 93-L: $55 NLHE Mini Super Tuesday, after satelliting into the event for just $18.75.

"piaba.kjj," who also won their first SCOOP title in the process, almost 1000x'd their initial buy-in in what is surely one of the most impressive results of the 2026 SCOOP series.

The tournament, which drew a huge field of 2,518 entries, smashed through the $100k Gtd, generating a prize pool of $125,900, the largest share of which went to "piaba.kjj."

There was scarcely a moment's worry for the Brazilian grinder, who spent almost the whole event well-above the average stack size, before taking a sizeable chiplead with 7 remaining and never relinquishing it.
