Patrick Leonard Has a Chance to Top the SCOOP All-Time Leaderboard

Patrick Leonard
Patrick Leonard

British pro Patrick "pads1161" Leonard has won 13 SCOOP events during his illustrious career. On March 18, Leonard has the opportunity to climb to the top of the all-time SCOOP leaderboard by capturing his 14th and 15th titles.

Only Swedish duo Simon "C. Darwin2" Mattsson and Jerry "Perrymejsen" Odeen, with 14 victories, have won more SCOOP events than Leonard. However, the popular Brit finds himself deep in $215 and $1,050 buy-in editions of the Super Tuesday.

Some 883 players bought into the $215 Super Tuesday, but only 31 remain in contention for the $28,269 top prize. Leonard returns to the action with 1,878,986 chips, enough for ninth place at the restart.

Only 20 of the 177 starters remain in the $1,050 Super Tuesday. While Leonard's 423,417 stack places him 14th when play resumes, a player of Leonard's undoubted ability can easily turn things around.

Play in both Super Tuesdays mentioned here resumes at 5:30 p.m. GMT on March 18. Stay tuned to PokerNews to discover if Leonard does indeed come out on top in both and becomes the first-ever player to win 15 titles.

Renan Bruschi Now Has a Dozen SCOOP Victories

Renan Bruschi
Renan Bruschi

Brazilian ace Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi captured his sixth title of the 2026 SCOOP and his 12th overall, cementing his place as one of the best online poker tournament players of his generation.

A star-studded crowd of 196 entrants battled for a slice of the $100,000 prize pool in the $530 NLHE Deep Stack event, but it was Bruschi who triumphed. His reward? His 12th title and $19,837 in prize money.

The nine-handed final table was home to several of online poker's most established grinders. However, Rodrigo "seijistar" Seiji's elimination in seventh left the waters slightly less shark-infested.

Seiji's fellow Brazilian, Bruno "great dant" Volkmann, bowed out in fifth before Niklas "Lena900" Astedt ran out of steam in third.

Bruschi locked horns and butted heads with Ukraine's "drew.derzh" for the title, and with Bruschi in red-hot form, there was only ever going to be one outcome. Bruschi eliminated "drew.derzh" in second place, locking in his sixth title of 2026 and his 12th overall.

Bruschi's 2026 SCOOP Victories

Bruschi became only the second player in SCOOP history to win six events in a single series. The previous record was five, but Albania's "king153246" netted their sixth and then their seventh winner's trophy this year. On current form, you would not bet against Bruschi joining "king153246" on seven titles by the time the 2026 SCOOP ends.

  • $530 NLHE 5-card Draw for $8,155
  • $1,050 8-Game for $16,903

Mixed Game Specialist "FAL1st" Helps Himself to 12th SCOOP Title

FAL1st Wins Their 12th SCOOP Title
FAL1st Wins Their 12th SCOOP Title

Only one day after winning the $1,050 Seven-Card Stud event, "FAL1st" took down the $55 NL 2-7 Single Draw 6-Max PKO event for $2,599. This latest victory takes "FAL1st" to 12 SCOOP wins; only four players in SCOOP history have more titles.

The event saw 256 entrants create a $12,800 prize pool, where half was shared among the top 35 finishers and the remaning 50% placed on each player's head in the form of a bounty.

The seven-handed final table was home to a handful of stars more used to playing in events costing 10 times more to enter. Renan "Internett93o" Bruschi busted in sixth, and Rhys "floppinhel" Jones crashed out in fifth.

"FAL1st" found himself heads-up against Canada's "AhamoLo" for title number 12. They got their hands on that trophy plus $2,599 in prize money when they sent their final opponent to the rail.

What's On the Schedule for SCOOP Tuesday?

SCOOP
SCOOP

Tuesday brings another full SCOOP grind, with a mix of Deep Stacks, Super Tuesday staples, and plenty of PKO action on the schedule.

The day gets underway with Event 91, a trio of Deep Stack tournaments headlined by the $530 High ($100K Gtd), before things switch gears into mixed games with 2-7 Single Draw PKOs (Event 92).

The spotlight then shifts to one of the biggest daily fixtures of the series — Super Tuesday (Event 93) — with buy-ins ranging from $55 up to the $1,050 High Roller ($150K Gtd).

From there, players have plenty of options. There’s PLO8 action (Event 94), a run of No-Limit Hold’em PKOs (Event 95), and standard NLHE tournaments in Event 96, before the day wraps up with fast-paced 6-Max Turbo PKOs (Event 97).

Playing Down Today

A number of events that kicked off on Monday will also play to a winner today.

The headline is SCOOP 86-M ($215 PKO, $300K Gtd), which returns with 38 players remaining, while the $2,100 High (86-H) is down to just 13 left.

Earlier in the day, SCOOP 85-H ($530 Deep Stacks) resumes with 34 players, and the massive-field 86-L ($22 PKO) continues with 114 still in.

Later on, attention shifts to Event 88, where all three tiers return, including the $1,050 High, also down to 13 players.

Nedelcu Wins SCOOP Sunday Million for $150K

Narcis Nedelcu
Narcis Nedelcu

Narcis “Narcisus90” Nedelcu added another major title to his name after taking down the SCOOP 81-M: $530 NLHE [Sunday Million] for $150,167.

The marquee event drew 1,865 entries but once again failed to surpass $1 million guarantee, and Nedelcu came out on top after a two-day battle, locking up his sixth career SCOOP title and his first since 2024.

It’s another big result in what has been a strong stretch for the Romanian, who also picked up a WSOP bracelet in 2025 and boasts more than $2 million in live tournament earnings.

While Nedelcu is no stranger to SCOOP success, this marks his biggest score in the series to date. His previous high came back in 2023, when he won SCOOP 27-H: $1,050 NLHE [Thursday Thrill] for $121,922, a number he comfortably surpassed with this latest victory.

He closed things out against Brazil’s “RealDanCooper” heads-up to seal the win and add one of online poker’s most prestigious titles to his growing list of achievements.

Sheils Wins SCOOP Title While Playing Live Final Table in Glasgow

Brandon Sheils
Brandon Sheils

Brandon “Tyrion2205” Sheils had one of those nights.

The UK grinder took down SCOOP 89-M: $109 PLO [Turbo, Progressive KO] for $6,631, topping a 376-entry field, and somehow did it while also deep in a live tournament at the same time.

Sheils revealed he was playing a live PLO final table in Glasgow alongside the SCOOP event, eventually chopping that one heads-up while closing things out online.

“Absolute scenes… just got my first ever COOP title… while playing a live FT in Glasgow,” he said in a Facebook post. “It’s one of those bucket list things I always wanted… I’m very proud.”

The win itself came with plenty of bounty work, with Sheils picking up a big chunk of his total through knockouts before finishing the job heads-up against Brazil’s “joaoMathias.”
