El Mahri was on his way to double up on 2♣J♦J♥, but the K♦ turn and the 10♥ river completed a runner-runner straight for Fournier, ending El Mahri's tournament.
Francois-Regis Jean shoved for 91,000 from the hijack. Hafid Blal in the cutoff called, as well as Koffi Eklu in the big blind.
Both Eklu and Blal checked a board of 10♣A♥8♦4♣, but on the 6♣ river, Blal decided to bet. He almost didn't have the time to move his chips forward that Eklu folded.

Blal hit a flush on the river and eliminated Jean.
According to the players at the table, Pierre Basile in the hijack opened and saw Dinh Nguyen in the cutoff moving all-in for 144,000. Gregory Fournier called from the button, but Basile raised to 250,000. Fournier clicked-back to 390,000, then Basile shoved for roughly 750,000. Fournier quickly called.

The dealer fanned a board of 5♣9♣Q♥5♥8♣, which led to Nguyen and Basile's eliminations at the same time.
Nicolas Dumont jammed for 110,000 from early position, then Remi Clement three-bet all-in with a bigger stack from middle position and all the other players folded.

Jérémy Surinach on the button openes to 30,000. The small blind folded, but Jonathan Khalifa defended from the big blind.
Surinach continued for 20,000 on the Q♦3♦Q♠ flop. Khalifa check-called, then checked the A♠ turn. Surinach took this opportunity to fire a second barrel of 150,000 and make Khalifa fold.
The 112 remaining players are now on a 20-minute break.
Originally scheduled to conclude with 16 players, Day 2 has been extended due to the success of this WSOP Circuit Main Event. The tournament director has announced that play will now end when 32 players remain, or at the conclusion of Level 24, whichever comes first.
This decision also has consequences for tomorrow's Day 3 as a Day 4 has been added on Tuesday to play the final table.
