The World Series of Poker (WSOP) is set to usher in a new era for its winter flagship, WSOP Paradise, after confirming the festival will move from Atlantis Paradise Island to the luxury Baha Mar resort, also in the Bahamas.

The 2026 edition, slated to run from Tuesday, December 1 to Friday, December 18, will shuffle up and deal in a new home roughly six miles up the Bahamian coast from where Austria’s Bernhard Binder announced himself to the wider poker world, capturing the record-breaking 2025 WSOP Paradise Super Main Event just a few months ago.

Mathieu Choffardet raised to 3,000 from early position and was called by Eric Apikian in the hijack. Alexandre Reard on the button moved all-in for 2,300 and Nikolai Mamut defended from the big blind.

After the 845 flop was checked, Mamut bet 8,000 on the 2 turn. Choffardet folded but Apikian called.

Mamut asked for 18,000 on the 6 river. Apikian went into the tank. He called with A3 for a straight but Mamut had a better straight with K7. Reard had J10 and was eliminated.

Four-way on a flop of 462, Helene Delval under the gun bet 6,000 and was called by the player to her left.

Imad Derwiche in middle position called as well but Xavier Mouysset in the big blind moved all-in for 36,100. Both Delval and her neighbor folded but Derwich seemed tempted to call. "We're gonna reenter," he said before calling off his last 18,000.

Imad Derwiche: A5 All in
Xavier Mouysset: 66

Derwiche ran into the best set but was lucky enough to hit a runner-runner flush with the 35 runout to double up.

“You’re Really Thinking About Calling with Ace-High?”

Level 7 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Clément Poletti
Clément Poletti

Clement Poletti raised to 2,500 from the cutoff but Guillaume Oliveira on the button three-bet to 7,000. The blinds folded and Poletti called.

Both players quickly checked a flop of 7102 leading to the 6 turn that Poletti checked. Oliveira bet 5,000 and Poletti called.

The 4 landed on the river and after Poletti checked, Oliveira moved all in for 20,400.

“You’re really thinking about calling with ace-high?” Oliveira said, as Poletti seemed confused by his line. “I would have called if you hadn’t talked,” Poletti replied. After a few seconds staring at each other, the clock was called and Poletti eventually folded the A.
