Patrik Demus raised it up from under the gun to 12,000 and Dominik Nitsche jammed from the next seat for 113,000. It folded back to Demus, who instantly called with the covering stack.

The 8♥6♠5♥J♥4♦ board saw Nitsche come from behind to double and leave Demus on a severe short stack.
Dan Cates raised to 25,000 from under the gun with J♥J♦ and Taylor Black defended the K♥8♥ in the big blind to hit another big flop in A♥K♦3♥. Black check-called for 6,000 and they checked the A♦ on the turn. Black then led the 7♦ river for 25,000 and Cates instantly sighed, then talked a lot before paying off the bet.
Stephen Song opened to 12,000 first to act and was three-bet to 37,000 by Quan Zhou from directly behind. Everyone folded back to Song, who announced he was all in. Zhou quickly called all in for a bit under 300,000 and a showdown was held.

The 5♥7♠3♣ flop and A♣ turn left Zhou one card from a double up, but the 8♦ river hit Song's two-outer for a set to eliminate Zhou in heart-breaking fashion.
Gary Thompson opened to 12,000 first to act with K♦7♦ and was called by Taylor Black in the hijack holding K♥10♥. Daniel Cates then squeezed to 48,000 with A♣K♠ from the cutoff, which got a fold from Thompson and a call from Black.
Both players checked on the 10♠J♦5♦ flop, 4♦ turn, and 9♠ river and Black turned over his pair of tens to claim the pot.
Stephen Song opened the action with a raise to 12,000 and Lei Yu called on the button. Bin Leng three-bet to 66,000 in the small blind with 8,000 behind and Yisha Chen called in the big blind. Song then jammed to force out Yu while Leng called all-in. Chen asked for a count on the shove of the table chip leader, which was for 906,000 total.
After some consideration, Chen called and was also at risk for 338,000.

The A♦7♣5♣4♥K♣ board knocked out Leng and Chen put a big dagger into the large stack of Song.
Quan Zhou won three hands in quick succession to boost his stack. The last one came at the expense of Yisha Chen when he faced a bet of 10,000 on the K♥7♦6♦ flop. Zhou on the button raised to 28,000 and Chen folded.
Dan Cates raised with the Q♥J♠ and Patrik Demus called with A♠4♠ in the next seat. They somehow checked to the J♥5♣2♠A♦Q♦ river on which Cates checked and Demus bet 12,000. Cates check-raised to 65,000 and Demus started some table chat with his neighbour before tossing in a time bank chip.
The Hungarian could not find a fold and dropped below the starting stack, while Cates nearly started a rap song while raking in the pot.
James Mendoza opened to 15,000 with the 8♠8♦ and earned callers in Daqn Cates with A♠10♥ on the button as well as Patrik Demus in the small blind, who had the 5♥5♦. The J♥7♠3♦ flop was checked to him and Mendoza's bet won the pot right there.
Daniel Cates opened to 12,000 first to act with A♣J♣ and Taylor Black called in the big blind holding 8♥6♦.
Both players checked on the 10♣K♣K♥ flop and 8♦ turn; however, Black led out for 20,000 after the 3♦ completed the board.
Cates responded with a raise to 75,000 and Black burned up a couple of time extensions before looking Cates up.
Cates showed his bluff and Black turned over the best hand to earn the pot.
Yisha Chen opened to 12,000 on the button and Stephen Song defended his big blind.
Both players checked on the 7♥J♥6♦ flop and K♦ turn, but Song led out for 20,000 after the 10♦ completed the board.
Chen tanked a bit before landing on a call and Song showed Q♥5♣.
Chen turned over Q♣9♥ for a straight and collected the pot.
"You definitely weren't folding!" Song said.
