Patrik Demus opened to 10,000 with the A♥2♥ and Taylor Black defended the big blind with the A♣Q♠. Both players had a piece of the Q♣8♠2♠ flop and Black check-called for 9,000 with his top pair and top kicker. They checked the 10♣ turn and the 6♠ river saw Black bet for the win.
Christopher Park opened to 10,000 first to act and was called by Quan Zhou in the hijack for a heads-up pot.
Both players checked on the A♠J♦J♠ flop and then Park check-called a 15,000 bet from Zhou on the 8♦ turn.
The 8♥ paired the board on the river and Park checked once more. Zhou put 45,000 into the middle and Park laid his hand down after a bit of thought.
Having previously tripled up his severe short stack, Nevan Chang jammed the button for 38,000 and was called by Dan Cates in the big blind.

Chang picked up an additional gutshot with the J♠7♦5♥ flop, but the 4♠ turn and 3♣ river brought no help to the online streamer. Right after his exit, the table broke as the field was down to the final 14 players.
Yisha Chen raised from under the gun to get called by Christopher Park in the next seat and Bin Leng in the big blind. Following the 10♠9♥2♣ flop, Leng checked and Chen bet 15,000 to earn two callers.
The trio checked the 6♦ on the turn and the 3♦ fell on the river. Leng checked once more, Chen bet 50,000. Park folded while Leng reluctantly called and then mucked to the K♣10♥ for top pair by Chen.
Dominik Nitsche limped under the gun with 3♥3♦ and Gary Thompson limped behind on the button with J♠10♠. Taylor Black called in the small blind with Q♥9♥ and Istvan Birizdo checked his option in the big blind with 7♦2♠ for a four-way pot.
The flop came J♥9♣4♦ and it was checked to Nitsche, who bet 13,000. Thompson called and everyone else folded.
The J♣ fell on the turn and Nitsche check-called a 16,000 bet from Thompson.
Nitsche checked a final time on the 7♣ river and Thompson shoved, which got a quick fold from Nitsche to send the pot Thompson's way.
Daniel Cates opened to 10,000 from the cutoff and was called by Quan Zhou on the button and Nevan Chang in the big blind.
Chang checked to Cates, who continued for 10,000 on the 6♦J♠2♣ flop. Zhou called and Chang called all in for his last 2,000.
Zhou called a 16,000 bet from Cates on the 3♠ turn, but folded facing an 80,000 bet from Cates on the 8♦ river.
Chang turned over 9♠8♠ for a rivered pair of eights, which were best against Cates' A♦2♥ for a pair of deuces — meaning Chang tripled up and Cates took the side pot.

In a three-bet pot with 32,000 each to the A♥9♠6♣ flop, Nevan Chang check-called for 25,000 against Dan Cates and did so again on the 7♥ turn when Cates glanced up from his phone for a second to bet another 50,000.
Heads-up to the A♣ river, Chang checked and Cates jammed for his last 94,000. Three time banks later, Chang called for most of his stack and was shown the bad news, as Cates revealed the A♠K♥ to beat his A♦5♦ with the superior kicker.
Martin Nielsen opened the action with a raise to 9,000 first to act and James Mendoza called on the button only for Gary Thompson to three-bet big to 40,000 in the small blind with the Q♦9♦. Nielsen only flat-called and Mendoza used a time bank extension and then declared all-in, Thompson folded and Nielsen snap-called for his last 199,000.
