Clash Between Song and Tong Goes Wrong

Stephen Song raised the button and Xin Tong three-bet out of the small blind with two T-25,000 chips out in front. Sean Ooi then four-bet to 100,000 from the big blind only for Song to five-bet to 180,000 with some chips behind. Tong went into the tank and used several time banks before moving all-in for around 350,000 and Ooi folded, while Song called.

Daniel Cates raised it up from the cutoff and Dominik Nitsche stuck in a three-bet on the button. The action was back on Cates who made a four-bet and the two players quickly had all of their chips in the middle with Cates being at risk for around 350,000.

Quan Zhou opened to 13,000 in early position and Christian Harder reraised to 34,000 on his left. The action folded back to Zhou who called to see a flop of Q♠4♠2♠.

Zhou checked to Harder who continued with a bet of 20,000 and Zhou check-raised to 75,000. Harder called and the 5♥ rolled off on the turn. Zhou announced all in and Harder called off his stack of 145,000.

Zhou flipped over 10♠9♠ for a flopped flush while Harder was trying to recover with his A♠A♣. The 6♦ bricked out on the river and Harder headed to the rail while Zhou collected his chips.

Quan Zhou opened to 10,000 from under the gun and Qian Xiong three-bet to 30,000 in the cutoff. Zhou called and they went heads-up to a flop of A♥J♥7♦. Zhou checked to Xiong who continued with a bet of 30,000 and Zhou called.

On the 6♥ turn card, Zhou led out with a bet of 37,500 and Xiong quickly folded and flashed the A♣ in the process.

In the next hand, Xiong limped in and Mauricio Salazar Sanchez raised to 15,000 from the cutoff. Zhou called and Xiong tagged along as well. The flop fell 8♠5♠4♦ and Zhou led out with a bet of 27,000. Xiong called and Salazar Sanchez stepped aside.

The turn was the 10♦ and Zhou opted to check this time. Xiong splashed in a bet of 35,000 and Zhou check-raised all in, prompting a quick call from Xiong for her stack of 129,000. Zhou flipped over 4♥4♣ for a set of fours while Xiong had 9♦8♦ for a pair and flush draw. The 2♠ on the river bricked out and Xiong was bounced from the event.
