Yunkyu Song

Yunkyu Song had been grinding the short stack for the better part of the last few levels. On the last hand of the night, he finally picked up a hand he was willing go with and got the last of his 400,000 chips in the middle against Martin Sedlak.

Yunkyu Song: 1010All in
Martin Sedlak: AQ

The flop came ace-high and Sedlak took the lead with a pair of aces. A queen on the turn improved Sedlak to two pair and Song was unable to hit the river, bowing out in 16th place. The remaining 15 players will now bag up their chips and return for the final day tomorrow.

Calvin Lee Eliminated in 19th Place (US$33,000)

Martin Sedlak opened to 160,000 and Quan Zhou defended the big blind to see the J82 flop, on which Zhou check-called for 150,000. That led them to the 5 turn on which Zhou checked again. Sedlak bet 480,000 and won the pot uncontested.

In the very next hand, Sedlak made it 160,000 to go once more and Zhou opted to call in the small blind. Calvin Lee in the big blind jammed for 1,315,000 and Sedlak went all-in over the top to isolate successfully.

Calvin Lee: AJ All in
Martin Sedlak: AK

The 1076 flop and 2 turn left Lee on very thin ice as Sedlak had the superior heart redraw. Neither player had hit anything until then and it remained that way on the Q river as well to send Lee to the rail in 19th place for US$33,000.

Marius Gierse: AQ

As if there had ever been any doubt, Gierse connected right away with the A87 flop. The 3 turn was a blank, as was the 4 river, and Li had to settle for 21st place and US$30,000.
