Level 18 : Blinds 15,000/30,000, 30,000 ante
Dong Chen
Dong Chen

Boxin Jin raised it up from the cutoff and was called only by Dong Chen out of the big blind. They got it in after the 976 flop with Chen holding 97 for two pair and his last 210,000. Jin, however, had flopped the straight with 108 and the 10 turn as well as J river changed nothing anymore.

Salazar Sanchez Jams Into Chen

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Mauricio Salazar Sanchez
Mauricio Salazar Sanchez

Mauricio Salazar Sanchez raised to 50,000 and then called a three-bet to 130,000 by Dong Chen on the button. Following the K74 flop, Salazar Sanchez check-called for 60,000 and checked the J on the turn. Chen used a tine bank and then bet 125,000 for Salazar Sanchez to call moments before his shot clock ran out.

Salazar Sanchez then opted to open shove the 3 on the river for 230,000 effective and Chen went into a deep tank. He used five time banks and then folded. In the meanwhile, Anton Lu was eliminated off a recent short stack and the field plummeted to the final 40 contenders.

Pang's Full House is No Good

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Supeng Pang
Supeng Pang

James Mendoza raised to 50,000 in middle position and picked up three callers along the way. The flop came KK7 and Mendoza continued with a bet of 75,000. Supeng Pang check-raised to 175,000 from the small blind and Mendoza moved all in. Pang called off his stack of around 500,000 and the cards were tabled.

Supeng Pang: 77All in
James Mendoza: K8

Pang flopped a full house but Mendoza still had some outs after flopping trip kings. The 4 landed on the turn and it was the 8 on the river that gave Mendoza a better full house and eliminated Pang.

Wang Gets Pipped by Gierse

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante

Marius Gierse opened to 50,000 in the hijack and was called by Huawei Lin in the small blind. Yuzhu Wang shoved all in for 480,000 in the big blind and Gierse called while Lin stepped aside.

Yuzhu Wang: 99All in
Marius Gierse: 1010

Wang found himself pipped by the pocket pair of Gierse and the runout of A85QA was no help as he was eliminated.

Ma The Next to Fall

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Haohui Ma
Haohui Ma

Over on the live stream feature table, a suddenly short-stacked Haohui Ma was all-in with 109 against the KK of Stephen Song on the button.

There were plenty of red cards on the 542K7 board but only one diamond, who sent the start-of-the-day chip leader to the rail.

Nevan Chang
Nevan Chang

The new live stream feature table saw a larger clash between Calvin Lee on the button and Nevan Chang in the small blind.

Nevan Chang: J10 All in
Calvin Lee: AK

The 864 flop changed nothing but the A turn left Chang drawing dead to the J river.

Cruel Exit for Wu After Dinner

Level 17 : Blinds 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Jinlong Wu
Jinlong Wu

Jinlong Wu pushed for only 130,000 in the cutoff and Supeng Pang reluctantly called in the big blind.

Once the cards were revealed, Pang grimaced when he was shown the AA of Wu as he only held the 85.

There were some groans on the 763 flop when Pang had an open-ended straight draw. It missed on the 2 turn but the 4 river sent Wu to the rail.

Leng Keeps Soaring; Nguyen Follows Behind

Level 16 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante
Minh Quang Nguyen
Minh Quang Nguyen

The heater of Bin Leng continued as he got it in with K8 against the AJ of Renji Mao on a A84 flop for middle pair and the nut flush draw. The 9 turn was a blank but the 9 river gave Leng the flush.

And the next shorter stack to get the chips in on the same table was Guangcheng Chen against Minh Quang Nguyen in a classic flip.

Guangcheng Chen: JJ All in
Minh Quang Nguyen: KQ

The K9796 board paired up Nguyen and Cheng departed with a "nice hand".

Jun Liu
Jun Liu

Jun Liu was sitting on just over starting stack and pushed all in for 265,000 from under the gun. The action folded through to Pan Wang in the big blind who instantly called after looking at his cards.

Jun Liu: A6All in
Pan Wang: QQ

Liu was desperately looking to spike an ace as he got up from his seat. The dealer fanned the board of 8229J which provided no help to Liu and Wang moved back into seven figures.
