Senger Flops Flush; Leaves Carlton with Dust

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

Everett Carlton opened for 1,200 from early position and was called by the cutoff player along with Stephen Senger on the button.

Carlton continued for 700 after the {7-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{10-Hearts} flop and the cutoff player called. Senger raised to 3,000 and Carlton called while the cutoff player folded.

The {j-Spades} came on the turn and Carlton check-called Senger's 6,000 bet to see the {2-Clubs} river complete the board.

Both players checked and Senger tabled {k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} to scoop the pot.

Trost Makes a Move

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

A player from middle position raised to 2,000 and Joseph Osterbauer called from the cutoff. Action was on Craig Trost who three-bet to 4,800 from the small blind. He was called by Steve Wilkie from the big blind along with the initial raiser and Osterbauer.

The {6-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} flop was checked to the {4-Hearts} turn where Trost's all in bet was uncontested to scoop the pot.

MSPT Season 10 Player of the Year Mike Shin on the Rise

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Mike Shin
Mike Shin

Saad Ghanem opened for 1,000 from early position and Ryan Phan called from the cutoff. The player in the small blind came along before Mike Shin, who will officially win the MSPT Season 10 Player of the Year award once registration closes on this tournament, called from the big blind to make it four-way action to the {8-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{k-Diamonds} flop.

All four players checked and then did the same on the {k-Spades} turn.

After the {10-Hearts} completed the board on the river, the player in the small blind checked and Shin opted to bet 3,700.

That did the trick as one by one his opponents folded. Shin has built his stack considerably over the past few levels.

Bohn Gets Isolation; Eliminates Rohloff

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Blake Bohn
Blake Bohn

Jason Hartwig opened for 1,400 from early position and was called by James Gibson from middle position along with Joseph Foss from the hijack. Action was on Edward Rohloff who moved his last 600 in the middle on the button and Blake Bohn three-bet to 5,500 from the small blind. Action was back on Hartwig who called while Gibson and Foss folded.

The flop came {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{9-Diamonds} and Bohn jammed for roughly 30,000 getting isolation after Hartwig mucked his hand.

Blake Bohn: {a-Spades}{q-Hearts}
Edward Rohloff: {a-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}

The {4-Spades} came on the turn, which wasn't the worse card as it brought chop outs but Rohloff still needed a seven to stay alive.

Unfortunately the {10-Clubs} river was no help to Rohloff as he took his exit and Bohn raked in the chips.

Colson Hits Runners for Double

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Action on the table folded around to Henry Mlekoday who limped in from the hijack along with Austin Schaal from the small blind. Action was on Rodney Colson who raised to 2,200 from the big blind and was called by both opponents.

The {5-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds} flop was checked to Colson who moved all in for 10,300 and was called by Mlekoday while Schaal folded.

Rodney Colson: {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Henry Mlekoday: {10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}

Mlekoday paired the flop but still had to dodge some cards as Colson held two overs and the higher diamond draw.

The {j-Clubs} turn added a gutterball to Colson and the {10-Clubs} river completed his straight giving him the double up.

Criego Done in By the Ladies

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

The preflop action escaped us but we do know that Bill Criego got his stack of 14,500 all in and he was at risk against Trevor Hills.

Bill Criego: {q-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Trevor Hills: {k-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}

Criego was on the wrong end of the cooler and it cost him his tournament life after the board ran out {7-Hearts}{5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}.

Minakrin Cracks Pupillo's Kings for Double

Level 5 : 200/400, 400 ante

Yevgeniy Minakrin opened for 1,400 from late position and Nick Pupillo three-bet to 4,400 on the button. Action folded back around to Minakrin who four-bet all in for 19,100 and Pupillo snap-called.

Nick Pupillo: {k-Hearts}{k-Clubs}
Yevgeniy Minakrin: {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Pupillo was ahead with his cowboys until the {2-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{a-Hearts} flop hit the felt pairing Minakrin's ace.

The {8-Hearts} turn was no help to Pupillo as he needed the case king to win the hand but the {9-Hearts} river wasn't it and Minakrin got the double up.
