"Jinx" Snaps Off An Opponent

Level 7 : 300/600, 600 ante

There was 5,100 in the middle from preflop action with three players holding cards in front of them. Jay Jin, better known as "Jinx" led out for 2,500 in the small blind. The big blind folded and the final player in the hand called from the cutoff.

Jin checked the turn {3-Hearts} as the cocktail waitress came around and he proceeded to get a Red Bull while his opponent checked behind. The river fell {9-Hearts} and Jin checked again. The cutoff confirmed that Jin checked and proceeded to count out 3,600 and send it into the middle. Jin immediately shot in calling chips.

The cutoff picked his hand up and set it down onto the table just beside the river as if he were about to muck. Instead, he tabled the missed flush draw {j-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}. Jin showed {7-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for sevens up and took down the pot.

Stanley Lee is among those to have been recently seated off the alternate list and was just seen in the seat previously occupied by Tyler Kolness. Lee opened to 1,500 in middle position and received a call from Patrick Beirne in the hijack.

Action went heads up to a flop of {3-Spades}{a-Hearts}{9-Clubs} and Lee checked. Beirne checked behind and the turn came {j-Clubs}. Lee checked again and Beirne put out a bet of 3,000. Lee studied Beirne for a bit and then called.

The river fell {q-Hearts} and lee checked once more. Beirne gathered chips and placed out a bet of 5,000. Lee once again went into the tank, eventually taking a chip and flicking it into the middle to call.

Upon being called, Beirne tabled {3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} for a flopped set of threes. Lee nodded and sent his cards to the muck.

Beirne "Clicks Back" The Turn

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante

The dealer was in the process of collecting 7,000 apiece from the big blind, Patrick Beirne in early position, and the player on the button to complete preflop action.

The flop dropped {6-Hearts}{j-Spades}{2-Clubs} and all three players checked, bringing the turn {3-Clubs}. The big blind threw out a bet of 10,000 and Beirne reached to grab for twice as much. He looked down to confirm he had grabbed the right amount and then tossed it into the middle to "click it back" with a minimum raise.

The player on the button folded to bring action back onto the big blind, who took about three seconds before deciding his hand was no good.

Level 6 : 300/500, 500 ante
Viincent Bartello

Action was heads up between Byung Shin, who was under the gun, and Vincent Bartello in the hijack with 11,500 in the middle on a board of {q-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}. Shin checked to Bartello, who bet 4,500 and was called after the amount was confirmed.

The river came {3-Hearts} and Shin checked again. Bartello fired his last 6,200 into the middle and Shin thought for a bit before finding a call.

Vincent Bartello: {q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}
Byung Shin: {q-Spades}{10-Spades}

Bartello's top two pair bested Shin's top pair and he earned the double to take him back above starting stack. With the lost pot, Shin now finds himself short and in need of some help to stay alive and spin up his stack.
