Costa Cracks Cowboys With Big Slick

Level 8 : 500/1,000, 1,000 ante
Sílvio Costa
Sílvio Costa

After a late position raise and one caller, Sílvio Costa three-bet to 8,000 from the button. After the blinds folded, the initial raiser four-bet to 22,000 getting a fold from the hijack player while Costa five-bet all in for roughly 35,000.

Costa's opponent called and the two players tabled their hands.

Sílvio Costa: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}
Opponent: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}

Costa wasn't excited being up against kings but the {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} flop put him in a better mood as it paired his ace.

Neither the {8-Spades} turn nor the {5-Diamonds} river changed a thing and Costa collected his double-up.

Action was back on Java who came over the top and got isolation after Moshe folded.

Nipun Java: {j-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Opponent: {a-Hearts}{q-Clubs}

Java's opponent held two overs but couldn't find either on the {k-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades} runout and they were eliminated from the tournament.
