A Look at the MSPT Hall of Fame

The MSPT Hall of Fame, established in 2017, is proud to recognize those individuals who have shown superior skill and achieved specific long-term accomplishments.

The criteria to earn a spot on the MSPT Hall of Fame is as follows:

Achieve a minimum of 25 MSPT Main Event Cashes and 1 MSPT Win OR 1 MSPT Player of the Year; or
Achieve a minimum of 10 MSPT Main Event Final Tables and 1 MSPT Win OR 1 MSPT Player of the Year

As of today, eight players are currently enshrined in the MSPT Hall of Fame.

George Dietz raised to 7,000 from early position and Craig Welko defended his big blind to see a flop.

Both players checked and the dealer turned the .

Welko led out for 8,000 and Dietz called bringing about the river. Welko fired out 12,00 and Dietz quickly called bringing action to showdown.

Welko quickly showed for top two-pair but it was no good as Dietz rolled over to scoop the pot with a king-high straight.
