Shin Sends One to The Rail

Level 15 : 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Mike Shin opened to 10,000 from the cutoff and was called by Jimmy Lujan in the small blind and another player in the big blind.

Both players checked to Shin on the {9-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} flop and Shin continued for 13,000. Lujan folded, but the player in the big check-shoved for a bit over 50,000. Shin called and hands were tabled.

Shin: {a-Spades}{k-Clubs}
Big blind: {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}

Shin's top pair had his opponent's second pair in rough shape, and the {6-Diamonds} turn and {3-Spades} river kept him in the lead, awarding him the pot and sending his opponent home.

Pratt Lays Down Ace-King

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player on the button opened to 6,500 and Denise Pratt three-bet to 23,000 from the big blind. Undeterred, her opponent then four-bet to 61,500 and Pratt called.

The flop came {q-Clubs}{2-Spades}{6-Hearts} and Pratt checked to her opponent, who bet 50,000. Pratt folded {a-Spades}{k-Spades} face up.

Despite the hit, Pratt has had an excellent evening of poker and currently sits with 355,000.

Jaka's Set Sends One to The Rail

Level 14 : 1,500/3,000, 3,000 ante

A player in middle position shoved for 28,000 and was called by Faraz Jaka in the lojack and another player in the cutoff.

Both players checked the {7-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{9-Spades} flop, but Jaka led out for 24,000 on the {k-Spades} turn. His opponent called.

Both players once again checked on the {8-Clubs} river and Jaka showed {9-}{9-} for a flopped set. The all-in player held {j-}{q-} and his other opponent mucked.
