Ivey Spikes Two-Outer

Level 6 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

Phil Ivey acted first and he shoved all in for 126,000. Romain Arnaud looked him up on the button, having peeled a higher pocket pair.

Ivey: {10-Clubs}{10-Hearts}
Romain Arnaud: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Ivey was a huge underdog but the {7-Spades}{K-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds} board saw him catch the goods on the river and he doubled up.

Rebuy Rebuy for Badziakouski

Level 6 : 0/0, 4,000 ante
Mikita Badziakouski
Mikita Badziakouski

Action folded to Mikita Badziakouski who moved all in before the flop, shoving for 96,000. Action folded to Ivan Leow who called on the button.

Ivan Leow: {A-Spades}{K-Spades}
Mikita Badziakouski: {J-Hearts}{10-Spades}

"I'm actually not happy about seeing these cards," Badziakouski said.

The board ran out {Q-Spades}{9-Clubs}{6-Spades}{J-Spades}{Q-Clubs} and Leow made a flush to eliminate Badziakouski who was on his last bullet.

"Rebuy, rebuy," Badziakouski said, quickly heading back to the registration desk.

Ivey Hits a Double

Level 6 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

Under the gun, Phil Ivey shoved last 65,000 and Ben Lamb isolated in the hijack. Ivey was slightly behind with {Q-Clubs}{9-Clubs} versus {K-Diamonds}{J-Diamonds} but he hit a full house on the board of {9-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{A-Hearts}{A-Spades}{Q-Diamonds}. Ivey climbed to 142,000 but Lamb is still miles ahead of him, playing around 1 million in chips.

Lamb's Set Holds in a Three-Way Showdown

Level 6 : 0/0, 4,000 ante
Ben Lamb
Ben Lamb

Ben Lamb limped under the gun, Paul Phua and Peter Jetten both overlimped and Phil Ivey checked on the button.

The flop came down {10-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{A-Hearts} and Ivey was the only one who escaped, folding his {10-Clubs}{7-Spades} after Phua pushed his 150,000 towards the middle and Jetten reshoved for 201,000. Lamb flopped the bottom set and put both Phua and Jetten at risk.

Phua: {J-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}
Jetten: {A-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Lamb: {8-Clubs}{8-Spades}

It was almost a perfectly fair race with Lamb being the biggest favorite, having 35% equity to scoop the whole pot. The {J-Hearts} turn gave Jetten a flush draw but Lamb managed to avoid all bad cards on the {6-Spades} river.

Jetten reloaded while Phua lost his final bullet and left the table. Lamb vaulted over 1 million in chips.

Dwan is in Pretty Good Shape

Level 6 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

After a limp from Mikita Badziakouski, Tom Dwan moved all in from the hijack seat. Action folded back to Badziakouski who called, revealing his {Q-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}.

"I'm in pretty good shape," Dwan said before turning over his hand and revealing the {A-Hearts}{J-Hearts}.

He was in fact in pretty good shape, dominating Badziakouski's hand. And he was in better shape when the flop came down {K-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} immediately leaving Badziakouski drawing dead despite flopping a straight.

The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and the river was the {Q-Hearts} and that gave Dwan a little overkill, rivering a royal flush.

"Six card royal,"Rui Cao said upon seeing the hand.

"Six cards," Dwan said. "He must pay double."

Dwan took down the pot to double up to over 200,000

New Bullet for Dwan

Level 6 : 0/0, 4,000 ante

Tom Dwan recently took his seat and he didn't waste much time before playing for his stack. We arrived when the chips were already in the middle and it became apparent that Tom Dwan was all in with {8-Hearts}{7-Diamonds} against Ivan Leow's {8-Spades}{6-Diamonds}.

The board read {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{9-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} and Dwan bricked his open-ended while Leow finished with sixes full. Leow crossed 900,000 in chips and Dwan reloaded for another 100,000.

Ivey Gives It Up to Phua

Level 5 : 0/0, 3,000 ante
Phil Ivey
Phil Ivey

Action limped around preflop with Phil Ivey, Ben Lamb, Romain Arnaud all calling and Paul Phual checking his option.

The flop came down {J-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{7-Spades} and action checked to Phua who put out a bet of 10,000. Action folded to Ivey who check-raised, making it 30,000. Everyone folded back to Phua and he called.

On the {6-Diamonds} turn, Ivey shut down, checking over to Phua. Phua moved all in for 75,000 and Ivey promptly folded allowing Phua to take down the pot.
