Zha Weizhou raised to 30,000 and Calvin Lee three-bet to 80,000. Danny Tang jammed for 533,000 and Lee called.
The A♣K♥ of Tang made a pair on the A♦8♥5♥2♦4♣ and Lee flung his cards into the muck to drop to a severe short stack.
Chih-Yuan Wang raised to 30,000 and Spencer Champlin called on the button. Daniel Lee raised to 105,000 in the small blind, picking up two calls. On the K♠5♣3♥ flop, Lee got out of the way when Wang bet 275,000 and Champlin called. The 6♣ followed on the turn and Wang pushed all-in, Champlin called for 470,000.

The river was the A♥ and the big stack added even more chips with his bottom two pair.
Congya Zhang opened to 30,000 in early position and Joseph Cheong three-bet jammed for 283,000 in the next seat before Hongjun Zhao re-shoved in the cutoff to get things heads-up.

Cheong had his opponent pipped and only improved as the board ran out K♠10♠9♣3♣K♦ to give him trips for a double.
Wei Hsiang Yeu made it 30,000 to go and the action then folded all the way to Joshua McCully, who three-bet jammed from the small blind with his large stack. Initial raiser Yeu called for the starting stack.

McCully was ahead but the J♦9♠5♦7♣3♦ board kept Yeu in the mix.
From an early position, Artur Martirosian got the last 60,000 into the middle and Jingxuan Zhu three-bet to 105,000. Daniil Vasilev flat-called in the big blind and the two active players checked to the K♠8♦5♦5♣Q♥ river. Vasilev bet 75,000 and Zhu folded.

Both players had paired the queen and the kicker played to send Martirosian out.
Down to the last 114,000 in chips, Jessica Vierling moved all-in and was called by big stack Erdun Xu one seat over in the small blind. Roman Hrabec then jammed over the top and Xu folded.

No help came on the 9♠9♥3♦ flop and 6♥ turn. "I'll take a three," Vierling said but the chop was also denied on the 4♦ river.
The 520-entry strong field has already been whittled down to fewer than 200 hopefuls and they are all aiming to complete another four levels until bagging and tagging.
Just before the blinds had gone up, Winfred Yu three-bet to 75,000 in the cutoff and Joshua McCully called. On the K♦4♥2♦ flop, McCully check-called for 75,000 and checked the 10♠ on the turn. Yu pushed all-in for 324,000 and McCully called with the marginally covering stack.

Yu had previously doubled with aces versus ace-king only to see the roles reversed in this hand. No help came with the Q♠ river and McCully virtually doubled his stack as he also claimed the blinds.

Erdun Xu opened the action with a raise to 26,000 in the hijack and Roman Hrabec called in the cutoff, all other players behind folded.
On the 10♣9♣6♦ flop, Xu check-called for 40,000 and did so again for 150,000 on the 2♥ turn. The 9♠ river paired the board and Xu checked again. Hrabec considered his options for a short while and opted to check back, then mucked against the A♣A♥ of Xu.
