Jamil Wakil min-raised off a shorter stack and was called only by Ehsan Amiri in the small blind as well as Du Qiao in the big blind. Three ways to the A♣6♥2♣ flop, Wakil bet 8,000 when checked to and Amiri raised to 16,000. Qiao folded and Wakil then got the last 40,000 in for Amiri to call.

Wakil's kings were in bad shape and he found no escape on the 4♥ turn or 5♠ river.
Konstantin Voronin opened to 12,000 from under the gun and Jinlong Hu three-bet to 52,000 in the small blind. Voronin then four-bet to 162,000 and Hu came over the top with a five-bet jam for 489,000. Voronin called with less.

Hu was pipped and couldn't improve as the board ran out 7♦4♦8♥A♠6♥ to earn Voronin a double.
Nevan Chang raised it up to 12,000 and was called by Koichi Chiba in the cutoff as well as Tingjia Cao out of the big blind. The flop brought K♥5♣3♣ and Cao checked. Chang bet 14,000 to force out Chiba while Cao check-raised to 49,000 and earned a call from Chang.
Cao's bet of 35,000 on the K♣ turn was called, as was the 76,000 on the [%s] river. He revealed the K♦3♦ for a turned full house and Chang was left on a mere eleven blinds.
Yilu Yuan made it 12,000 to go for Johan Schultz-Pedersen to three-bet to 46,000 in the small blind, picking up a call by Yuan. Schultz-Pedersen slowed down with the 7♣5♠3♥ flop and check-called for 6,000 only to then check-call another 70,000 on the 6♦ turn.
The Q♥ river was checked and Schultz-Pedersen claimed the pot with A♣4♣ for the seven-high straight.
In a duel of shorter stacks, Somasekhar Sanampuri called a three-bet to 34,000 and called the shove by Wei Lin on the A♥10♦2♦ flop.

Lin was marginally ahead and remained that way on the 6♠ turn. But the J♠ river gave Sanampuri broadway to escape from elimination.
At the very end of the previous level, Justin Steinbrenner made it 10,000 to go on the button and Christopher Mateo called in the small blind. Felix Rabas in the big blind three-bet to 35,000 and Steinbrenner jammed for 171,000. Mateo folded and Rabas called to set up the duel of German-speaking poker pros.

The A♦4♥3♦ flop saw Rabas jokingly ask for five and deuce. One of them came with the 2♥ turn but the 8♠ river sent Steinbrenner to the rail.

Huu Dung Nguyen made it 10,000 to go in the cutoff and Yilu Yuan called on the button, as did Xuming Qi in the big blind. The Q♣9♦5♣ flop was checked all the way and the K♣ followed on the turn. Qi checked and Nguyen bet 28,000, Yuan folded and Qi raised to 68,000.
Nguyen then pushed all-in and Qi called for 155,000.

Qi's turned straight had zero equity as Nguyen had improved to a flush with the very same card to make the 8♥ river a formality.
