The remaining 278 players have been sent on another 15-minute break.
Seunghyun Michael Nam opened to 9,000 on the button and Ruslan Khadartsev defended in the big blind.
Khadartsev checked on the flop of K♣9♥8♣ and Nam bet 8,000. Khadartsev called. Nam checked again on the 4♠ turn and Khadartsev sized up to 55,000. Nam called.
Nam checked once more on the 6♠ river and Khadartsev put him to the test by moving all in. Nam called with his stack of 156,000.
Nam tabled 9♠8♥ for two pair, enough to crush the 9♣3♣ of Khadartsev as the Russian was sent to the rail.
Picking up the action on the A♥J♠8♥3♥ turn, Florian Ribouchon in the small blind checked and Duc Tuan Tran bet 35,000 from an earlöy position. Ribouchon then used one time bank before he moved all-in and Tran asked for a count.
The shove was for 189,000 and Tran called.
Florian Ribouchon: Q♥10♥
Duc Tuan Tran: 10♣9♦
The table was somewhat surprised when they saw Tran behind, who exclaimed "seven or queen". Neither came with the 4♠ river and queen-high beat ten-high for the double.
"Nice value bet," Eric Tsai joked to Ribouchon.
Somasekhar Sanampuri raised to 8,000 from under the gun and earned two callers in Park Yu Cheung as well as Xuming Qi. Runtian Zhang then three-bet to 40,000 and Sanampuri was the only caller. The flop came A♣A♥5♣ and Zhang bet 30,000, then called all-in for 105,000 when Sanampuri jammed.
Runtian Zhang: A♠J♥
Somasekhar Sanampuri: 10♠10♥
Zhang was way out in front with trips aces and had little to fear on the 2♥ turn as well as 2♦ river.
On the river of a 9♥8♦7♣9♠3♦ board with around 105,000 in the middle, Peng Zhou bet 66,000 from an early position. Junjie He burned through three time banks before he called and mucked when Zhou revealed the J♣9♣ for trips nines.
Vladislav Klepikov raised to 10,000 and Choon Tong Siow then jammed for his last 36,000 in the next seat from the cutoff. Trung Hieu Nguyen called out of the big blind and Klepikov folded.
Choon Tong Siow: A♦Q♣
Trung Hieu Nguyen: 10♥10♠
The classic flip went to Nguyen thanks to the J♣9♥2♥7♠K♣ runout.
In a four-way min-raided pot to the Q♣8♠6♦ flop, Hung-Lin Tseng checked from the big blind. Sergei Petrushevskii bet 12,000 from under the gun and Xuan Liu called next to act while the other players got out of the way.
Petrushevskii bet the 8♦ turn for 30,000 for Liu to call and bet another 75,000 on the 9♣ river. Liu moved all-in with the covering stack and Petrushevskii called for 128,000 total. Liu tabled her slow-played A♥A♦ but they were cracked by the K♥8♥ of Petrushevskii.
The action kicked off with a min-raise by Yunkyu Song, who had fewer than half the starting stack at his disposal. Doyle Kwan Fu Lee moved all-in from the small blind and Song called.
Yunkyu Song: K♣K♦
Doyle Kwan Fu Lee: J♠J♥
Both pocket pairs missed to connect with the 10♠5♦2♦9♠2♠ board and Song earned an urgently needed double.
