Martin Sedlak raised to 5,500 and Victor Zhenyu Li called. Timothy Yim then three-bet to 20,000 in the cutoff and Andre Moreira jammed from the big blind for 102,000. It folded back to Yim who made the call.

Moreira stopped his table massage temporarily, then re-entered and restarted the massage at his new table in the secondary tournament area.
Jieming Xu opened to 5,000 from under the gun and Duan Chao called in the cutoff as Murly Manokharan called in the small blind.
Manokharan checked on the flop of 5♣6♠10♠ and Jieming bet 10,000. Both opponents called. Manokharan checked again on the K♥ turn and Jieming bet 50,000. Only Chao called.
Jieming then moved all in for 302,000 on the J♦ river and Chao laid it down.
The action escalated between two of the early big stacks when Xiaohu Liu three-bet to 15,000 after an open raise by Runtian Zhang. Daniel Dvoress four-bet to 45,000 to force out Zhang and Liu then five-bet to 95,000, picking up a call by Dvoress.
What followed were three barrels for 60,000 on the 9♦7♥2♠ flop, 150,000 on the 3♥ turn and the shove on the K♣ river. Dvoress called all the way including for his last 206,000 at the end to get shown the A♦J♥ for a triple barrel bluff by Liu. The Canadian had that beat with Q♠Q♥ and jumped way out in front on the leaderboard.
Following an open raise to 5,000 by Ori Hasson, Hugues Girard three-bet to 20,000 out of the small blind and the initial raiser stuck around. Girard bet the Q♥8♦3♣ flop for 15,000 and earned a call, then bet again the A♥ turn for 45,000 for Hasson to call.
Girard pushed all-in with the covering stack on the A♣ riverand Hasson called with the 3♠3♥ for a full house, which beat the A♠J♠ for trips aces of Girard.

Chenxiang Miao opened to 5,500 on the button and Jiaxian Pan three-bet to 17,000 in the small blind.
Murly Manokharan cold-called in the big blind and Miao then four-bet to 75,000. Both opponents folded.
Tien Thanh Pham min-raised to 5,000 and called a three-bet to 20,000 by Tom Fuchs. The bet sizing on the [KJs9s5s] flop was for half of that by Fuchs and Pham came along. On the 8♦ turn, both checked and Fuchs bet the J♥ river for 50,000. Pham called and Fuchs showed his A♣K♦ fore the top pair and top kicker to win the pot and climb back above the starting stack.
