Chang Five-Bets Zheng

Xiaosheng Zheng opened to 4,500 from under the gun and two players called before Nevan Chang three-bet to 30,000 in the big blind.

Zheng then four-bet to 70,000 and the two players in between folded before Chang came over the top with a five-bet to 125,000. Zheng called.

Chang then moved all in for 114,000 on the flop of 6410 and Zheng went in the tank before finding a fold.

Once the action folded to Artem Vezhenkov on the button, the Russian online grinder made it 5,000 to go. He was three-bet to 20,000 by Tamon Nakamura in the next seat and Vezhenkov called to the AA9 flop. Nakamura made it 11,000 to go and Vezhenkov called.

Both players checked the 6 on the turn before Nakamura bet another 50,000 on the 8 river. Vezhenkov raised it up to 175,000 with very few chips behind and forced out Nakamura.

Yan Li made it 4,500 to go in the hijack and Konstantin Voronin called in the cutoff with the far largest stack at the table. The J88 flop saw Li continue for 5,000 and Voronin called. On the 5 turn, Li checked and subsequently called a bet of 16,000 by Voronin before doing the same on the K river for 55,000.

Voronin showed his K6 for kings and eights, which Li had beat with the KQ for the superior kicker.

Brian Kim opened to 3,500 from under the gun and Batmunkh Unubukh three-bet to 12,000 from the next seat. Dimitrios Anastasakis then cold-called in the small blind and Kim also called.

The flop of 9JQ checked through and all three players checked again on the Q turn. Anastasakis then bet 27,000 on the 8 river to bring quick folds from Kim and Unubukh.

Yi Yang raised to 3,000 and was called by Duc Tuan Tran in the big blind, who after his early tussles with Konstantin Voronin had only 29,000 behind to the A102 flop. Tran check-called for 2,500 and checked the 7 on the turn.

Yang bet 15,000 and called Tran's shove for 26,000.

Isaac Haxton bumped it up to 3,500 in the hijack and was called by Tharit Nanthana in the next seat, Xiaohu Liu also called in the biog blind. The trio checked the 632 flop and the Q turn was checked to Nanthana, who bet 7,000. Only Liu called and they checked again the 8 on the river.

Liu tabled his 52 but Nanthana had the best of it with the Q5.

Zhou Gets Back from Asipauskas

Quan Zhou opened the button to 2,500 and was called only by Rokas Asipauskas in the big blind. On the J106 flop, Asipauskas check-called for 3,000 and the 5 turn was checked. Asipauskas led the J river for 3,500 and called a raise to 18,000, then mucked when Zhou revealed the J9 for rivered trips.

Ponakovs Gets to Clicking

Aleksejs Ponakovs opened to 3,500 from early position and Curtis Knight called in the next seat before Lingqiang Pang three-bet to 20,000 on the button.

Ponakovs responded with a four-bet to 48,000 to bring a quick fold from Knight. But it was a different story from Pang, who five-bet to 110,000 to bring a quick fold from Ponakovs.
