Alisson Piekazewicz made it 105,000 to go from middle position and Haohui Ma called in rthe small blind. On the 9♣8♣6♠ flop, Ma led for 160,000 and did so again for 320,000 on the J♥ turn, both of which Piekazewicz called. Ma then jammed the 3♥ on the river and Piekazewicz called with the Q♣10♦ for the nut straight, beating the 8♠8♦ of Ma in a big pot.
Hans Liu was all-in soon after the bubble burst with the K♣Q♣ and had a mountain to climb against the A♦Q♥ of Aliaksei Boika. The 4♥4♦3♣Q♠10♠ board ensured that the ace played as kicker and knocked out Liu as first casualty in the money.
Wang Sum Li then jammed only 285,000 with the Q♣J♥ and Sirzat Hissou did so one seat over for two times as many chips with the A♥J♦. The Q♠8♠8♦A♠5♥ gave both players two pair and Li was gone next.
Han Shao limped the button and Daniel Rezaei did so from the small blind, Yuan Xu was forced all-in for 50,000 in the big blind. The two active players checked down the Q♥Q♠9♠10♠4♦ board and this table was the first to show their cards.
Xu had the 8♠5♦ and was on the verge of eliminqtion. Shao's A♠2♥ beat him already and the 10♣2♦ of Rezaei won the pot.
Not far away, Joseph Cheong raised the button to 125,000 and Hongjun Zhao defended the big blind. Following the Q♥6♦5♣ flop, Zhao check-raised to 500,000 and Cheong called all-in for 480,000.
While they waited for the other tables to finish, Cheong left his seat and walked over one table to Ren Lin. "Now it is my turn," Cheong joked and Lin came to his table to follow the action. Long Cao jokingly suggested for Cheong to buy insurance with Lin, and Yang Wang jokingly pulled out some cash.
Joseph Cheong: K♣K♥
Hongjun Zhao: 7♠4♦
The open-ender of Zhao missed on the A♦ turn and A♥ river for Cheong to double, making Xu the official bubble casualty in this event.
Jia-Chi Li raised to 125,000 and Ren Lin three-bet to 300,000 in the very next seat. It folded back to Li and he jammed, Lin called for 1,095,000.
Ren Lin: K♣K♥
Jia-Chi Li: 8♦6♦
The K♦9♥4♠5♣3♠ board gave Lin a double with top set.
Mingcong Chen pushed al-in on the button with a large stack on a nearby table and Han Shao called for 570,000 in the big blind.
Han Shao: K♥K♣
Mingcong Chen: 7♠3♠
Thanks to a board of A♦J♦6♦Q♦8♦, Shao was denied a double in cruel fashion with the flush on the board.
The last all-in showdown to run was a duel between Ting-Yi "Eric" Tsai and Lin Zhou.
Tsai raised to 100,000 for Zhou to flat-call on the button and the 10♠6♦4♥ flop saw Tsai with a continuation bet for 140,000, which Zhou called. Tsai bet another 450,000 on the 9♦ turn to receive a call and jammed the 2♦ river for 635,000 effective.
Zhou burned through four time banks and eventually called. A small stampede of crew and players walked to their table for the showdown. Tsai showed K♠J♣ for a missed gutshot and Zhou doubled with the Q♥Q♣.
There were three consecutive double ups on the money bubble, first with Ming Dai doubled through Daniil Vasilev as his A♦J♥ held up against A♠4♦ on a runout of 2♥2♠8♠7♥5♣.
Next, Hongjun Zhao flipped thorugh Julian Warhurst with A♣J♣ against 9♠9♥ as he paired his jack on the runout of Q♣J♥7♦6♦10♥.
Finally, Quan Qiu received a small double through Ta-Wei Tou with K♥J♣ against 6♦3♣ as the board ran out 3♠4♠10♠J♦A♦.
Hand-for-hand play remains with the money bubble still looming.
Michael Zhang raised to 100,000 and folded when Trung Quan Nguyen as well as Ning Lu moved all-in thereafter.
Trung Quan Nguyen: 8♥8♦
Ning Lu: A♥A♦
The Q♣J♥5♦7♦6♠ board reduced the field by one.
In a duel of high-stakes and online grinders, Roman Hrabec then tangled with Artur Martirosian.
Hrabec called a three-bet to 240,000 by Martirosian and they checked the K♥10♥8♦ flop. On the 6♦ turn, Hrabec check-called for 400,000 with fewer than a million behind. That led to the 4♠ on the river on which Hrabec checked. Martirosian jammed with the covering stack and was called.
Martirosian showed the K♠9♠ for the top pair and Hrabec's A♦10♣ was no good.
