Joao Simao opened from the cutoff with Q♥J♠ and was called by Miroslav Atanasov in the big blind.
Atanasov check-raised to 300,000 after Simao bet 110,000 on the 5♦Q♠6♥ flop and Simao called with his top pair.
The 4♦ fell on the turn and both players checked; however, Atanasov bombed 760,000 into the middle after the 2♣ completed the board — sending Simao deep into the tank.
Simao eventually folded and it was revealed that Atanasov held K♣10♦ for a stone bluff.
Murly Manokharan open-shoved for 965,000 from under the gun and it was folded to Adrian Mateos, who also moved all in for more from the small blind.
Murly Manokharan: A♣Q♣
Adrian Mateos: Q♦Q♥
The 5♣8♦3♥ flop looked grim for Manokharan, but the J♣ turn gave him a good sweat after picking up a flush draw.
No dice for Manokharan, however, as the 8♥ river left Mateos best with queen to eliminate Manokharan in sixth place.
Nick Petrangelo raised to 135,000 from the cutoff with Q♦J♣ and was three-bet to 480,000 by Danny Tang in the small blind. Miroslav Atanasov then four-bet to 880,000 from the big blind, which got a fold from Petrangelo, but a shove from Tang for 2,130,000 total.
Atanasov went deep into the tank, but eventually stuck in a call with a slightly covering stack for a massive showdown.
Danny Tang: A♦K♦
Miroslav Atanasov: J♥J♠
It was a race for the chip lead, and the 2♣5♥9♥6♦6♥ runout kept Atanasov's jacks in front — eliminating Tang in seventh place.
Joao Simao raised to 120,000 from the hijack with K♥Q♥ and was three-bet to 385,000 by Danny Tang in the big blind holding A♦2♥.
Simao tanked, but then announced he was all in for 1,470,000 total. Tang quickly let his rag-ace go and Simao was sent the pot.
Nick Petrangelo opened to 135,000 from early position with A♣7♥ and Joao Simao defended his big blind with A♦9♣.
Both players flopped two pair on the 9♠7♦A♠ flop and Simao check-called a 90,000 bet from Petrangelo.
Simao check-called 270,000 barrel from Petrangelo on the 4♥ turn and then both players checked after the 9♥ completed the board.
Simao showed his full house to collect the pot and Petrangelo showed he somehow averted distaster by not getting all in with his flopped two pair.
Nick Petrangelo raised to 120,000 on the button and was three-bet to 800,000 by Seth Davies in the small blind. Petrangelo moved all in after action was back on him and Davies called all in for 1,200,000 total.
Seth Davies: A♦8♥
Nick Petrangelo: A♥Q♣
Davies would need some help against his fellow American, but the Q♦5♦6♥A♣J♠ runout left him drawing dead by the turn to be sent out in eighth place.

Danny Tang raised to 110,000 from the hijack holding A♥6♥ and Adrian Mateos defended his big blind with 7♥6♣.
Both players checked on the K♠5♥10♦ flop and then Tang called a 220,000 bet from Mateos after picking up a flush draw on the 3♥ turn.
The J♣ river missed both players, but Mateos announced a bet of 475,000. Tang let his ace-high go and Mateos was awarded the pot on a successful bluff.
Miroslav Atanasov raised to 100,000 first to act and it was folded to Dan Dvoress, who three-bet to 260,000, leaving himself just 160,000 behind, from the hijack. Atanasov called.
The flop came A♣A♦10♠ and Atanasov check-called after Dvoress moved all in.
Dan Dvoress: Q♣Q♠
Miroslav Atanasov: A♥9♥
Atanasov had cracked Dvoress's queens, and the 9♦ turn left Dvoress drawing dead after improving Atanasov to a full house.
The 2♣ completed the board, making Dvoress's elimination in ninth place official.
