As Triton celebrates a decade of high-stakes tournament poker, the $150,000 10th Anniversary Special has provided a fitting showcase at the Triton Super High Roller Series Jeju II, with 26 players emerging from Day 1 at LES A Casino.
The prestigious event has already attracted 58 entries, creating an $8,700,000 prize pool, but with late registration remaining open until the start of Day 2, both figures are set to rise before the Day 1 survivors return to the tables.
Seth Davies leads the way into Day 2 with 951,000, continuing a strong Jeju series that has already seen him make two final tables, including a third-place finish in the $200,000 Invitational for $3,470,000.
Davies surged to the top in the penultimate level after clashing with then-chip leader Jean-Noel Thorel, completing a flush on the river and getting full value to take the overnight lead.
Miroslav Atanasov sits second with 888,000 after jumping into the field following his 12th-place finish in the Main Event earlier in the day. The Bulgarian made the quick turnaround count, securing a spot near the top of the leaderboard.
Triton regular Thorel rounds out the top three with 700,000, having recovered from his clash with Davies to reclaim a podium spot.

Further down the leaderboard, Joao Simao bagged 593,000. The Brazilian is already a champion in Jeju this series, having conquered a record-breaking 173-entry field in the $200,000 Invitational for a career-best $7,250,000 and his second Triton title.
In total, the surviving field boasts seventeen previous Triton champions, with Dan Dvoress (235,000) and Matthias Eibinger (388,000) leading the way with seven titles apiece. Danny Tang (620,000) has six, while Mikita Badziakouski (443,000), Ben Tollerene (422,000), Alex Foxen (157,000) and Artur Martirosian (247,000) are among the other multiple-time champions still hunting another trophy.
Aside from the three players at the top of the leaderboard, six others are still chasing their first Triton title. Thomas Boivin (513,000) and Murly Manokharan (513,000) lead the way among them, followed by Ren Lin (414,000) and Ye Wang (378,000). Danilo Velasevic (368,000) and Brandon Wilson (245,000) will also be hoping to break through and claim their maiden Triton trophy.
The surviving players will return tomorrow, Thursday, September 17, at 12:00 p.m. local time, and will be joined by any late registrants, with late registration remaining open until play begins.
Play will resume on Level 11 with blinds of 5,000/10,000 and a 10,000 big blind ante, with play continuing until a champion is crowned.
