Putra Cracks Aces to Double
Level 12
: Blinds 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante
Ferdinand Putra raised to 20,000 from the hijack, and Artur Martirosian three-bet to 50,000 on the button. The action folded back to Putra, who called.
Putra check-called a bet of 50,000 on the 7♣J♠10♦ flop, and when Martirosian continued for 75,000 on the Q♠ turn, Putra check-called again.
The 2♠ completed the board, and Putra didn't wait to see what Martirosian wanted to do, instead leading out with an all-in bet of 129,000. Martirosian called, but it was bad news, as his A♠A♣ had been run down by Putra's 10♠9♠.
